Cam Akers: Reverts to practice squad
Akers reverted to Seattle's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Akers was elevated to the active roster for the Super Bowl but ended up playing just four snaps, all of which came on special teams. The 26-year-old spent time with both the Vikings and Seahawks during the 2025 campaign, appearing in six regular-season games and rushing for 19 yards on five carries.

Velus Jones: Returns to practice squad
Jones reverted to Seattle's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
The 28-year-old was elevated to the active roster ahead of the Super Bowl and played 23 snaps on special teams, downing a Michael Dickson punt on New England's two-yard line. Jones appeared in three regular-season games with the Seahawks during the 2025 season and rushed for 32 yards on four carries.

D'Ernest Johnson: Reverts to practice squad
Johnson reverted to New England's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Johnson didn't see any playing time on offense during the Super Bowl but did return four kickoffs for 103 yards. The 29-year-old finished the 2025 campaign with 25 rushing yards on 13 attempts across seven regular-season games with the Patriots.

George Holani RB | SEA
Seahawks' George Holani: Three touches in Super Bowl
Holani rushed twice for six yards and caught his lone target for seven yards in Sunday's 29-13 Super Bowl win over the Patriots.
As expected, Kenneth Walker dominated the backfield, racking up 161 yards from scrimmage on 29 touches, but Holani was effective in his limited action. The second-year back out of Boise State finished the season with 27 carries for 83 yards (3.1 YPC) and a touchdown and six receptions for 49 yards through 13 games, including the postseason. With Rashid Shaheed on board, Holani's return duties evaporated in the second half, so he'll likely need to battle for a roster spot in 2026 regardless of the status of Zach Charbonnet (torn ACL).

TreVeyon Henderson RB | NE
Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Mixes in with Stevenson
Henderson rushed the ball six times for 19 yards in Sunday's 29-13 loss to the Seahawks in Super Bowl LX. He added three receptions (on three targets) for 26 yards.
Henderson's overall struggles to rush efficiently in the postseason continued in the Super Bowl, though the New England offense was stalled for much of the game. His overall production also was inflated by a 24-yard catch and run during the game's final plays. However, he had a fairly even split with Rhamondre Stevenson in terms of touches, and the former did manage long runs of nine and seven yards. Henderson is likely to begin the 2026 season on the smaller end of a backfield split in New England, though he showcased his ability to produce plenty on limited touches throughout his rookie season thanks to his big-play ability -- something that is likely to continue in his sophomore campaign.

Rhamondre Stevenson RB | NE
Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Catches late TD in Super Bowl 60
Stevenson rushed the ball seven times for 23 yards in Sunday's 29-13 loss to the Seahawks in Super Bowl LX. He added five receptions (on five targets) for 40 yards and a touchdown.
Stevenson began the game as a key part of New England's game plan, though the team's inability to maintain drives limited his impact. All seven of his carries came in the first half, and the majority of his production as a pass catcher came with the Patriots down by multiple scores. The highlights of Stevenson's performance were a long reception of 13 yards and a seven-yard touchdown grab just before the two-minute warning. Stevenson fended off TreVeyon Henderson as the lead back in 2025, though Stevenson may lose a bit more of his volume, as the duo projects to split the Patriots backfield again in 2026.

Kenneth Walker III RB | SEA
Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: MVP effort in SB LX win
Walker rushed 27 times for 135 yards and brought in two of four targets for 26 yards during the Seahawks' 29-13 win over the Patriots in Super Bowl LX on Sunday.
Walker and the rest of the Seahawks offense started the game off in relative modest fashion, but the star running back ignited his night in earnest when he ripped off 30- and 29-yard runs during Seattle's first possession of the second quarter. He would subsequently find fairly consistent running room against a typically stingy Patriots front seven, recording another four runs of seven or more yards. Walker also had a 49-yard touchdown run just before the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter that was nullified by an offensive holding penalty, but he handled his workhorse role, which also saw him record a 20-yard reception, with aplomb. His exploits earned him the Super Bowl MVP and capped off an impressive three-game postseason run, one that saw him also record a 116-yard, three-touchdown effort in the divisional-round win over the 49ers and supplement his production on the ground with 104 receiving yards on nine receptions over the trio of contests.

Robbie Ouzts RB | SEA
Seahawks' Robbie Ouzts: Won't suit up for Super Bowl
Ouzts (neck) is inactive for Super Bowl LX against the Patriots on Sunday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Ouzts was limited in all three practices this past week due to a lingering neck injury, but he has not been cleared by the medical staff to play in Sunday's Super Bowl. Brady Russell will be the Seahawks' fullback in Ouzts' absence.

Velus Jones Jr. RB | SEA
Seahawks' Velus Jones: Elevated for Santa Clara
The Seahawks elevated Jones from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Jones was elevated for the NFC Championship Game against the Rams, but he ended up inactive on game day, as the Seahawks chose Cam Akers to be the No. 3 running back behind Kenneth Walker and George Holani. A similar fate is likely in store for Jones this Sunday as the Seahawks take on the Patriots in Super Bowl LX.

Cam Akers RB | SEA
Seahawks' Cam Akers: Elevated for Super Bowl LX
The Seahawks elevated Akers from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Akers will be elevated for a second consecutive playoff game. The running back saw just one offensive snap in the NFC Championship Game victory over the Rams, being elevated as a depth piece due to the absence of Zach Charbonnet (ACL). The 26-year-old will likely see similarly minimal usage in Super Bowl LX against the Patriots this Sunday, as George Holani will be the relief back behind Kenneth Walker.
