  • Tim Boyle QB | NYG

Tim Boyle: Let go by Big Blue

The Giants waived Boyle on Saturday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Boyle was signed to the Giants' 53-man roster Nov. 23 to serve as the No. 3 quarterback behind Tommy DeVito and Drew Lock. Assuming he clears waivers, Boyle will look to catch on with a team in need of a practice squad quarterback, though he could opt to remain with the Giants.

  • Bradley Chubb OLB | MIA

Dolphins' Bradley Chubb: Won't play Sunday vs. Gang Green

Chubb (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jets, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.

Chubb was designated to return from the reserve/PUP list Monday, and he was able to participate in practice all week in a limited capacity. He wasn't able to progress enough to play Sunday, and his next chance to make his 2024 regular-season debut will be Week 15 against Houston on Sunday, Dec. 15.

  • Buccaneers' Joe Tryon-Shoyinka: Won't play vs. Las Vegas

Tryon-Shoyinka (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Despite logging a full practice Friday, Tryon-Shoyinka will be sidelined for a second straight game due to a high-ankle sprain he suffered in Week 12 against the Giants. Anthony Nelson and Chris Braswell are the top candidates to start at outside linebacker Sunday opposite Yaya Diaby due to Tryon-Shoyinka's injury.

  • JJ Russell ILB | TB

Buccaneers' J.J. Russell: Ruled out for Week 14

Russell (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Las Vegas, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Russell and outside corner Josh Hayes both popped up on Friday's injury report due to hamstring injuries, and both players will be sidelined Sunday. With K.J. Britt (ankle) also ruled out for Sunday's contest, Antonio Grier is set to start at inside linebacker alongside Lavonte David.

  • Josh Hayes DB | TB

Buccaneers' Josh Hayes: Won't play vs. Raiders

Hayes (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Hayes popped up on Friday's injury report as a limited practice participant due to a hamstring injury, and the issue is severe enough for him to be sidelined for Sunday's contest. He's mostly served on special teams this season, but Hayes' absence means Dallis Flowers will be the primary backup at outside corner Sunday behind starters Jamel Dean and Zyon McCollum.

  • Saints' Tanoh Kpassagnon: Won't return for Week 14

Kpassagnon (Achilles) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.

Kpassagnon was a full participant in practice all week, but he is not quite ready to make his 2024 regular-season debut as he works his way back from a torn Achilles injury. Kpassagnon's next opportunity to play will be Week 15 against the Commanders on Sunday, Dec. 15.

  • Bucky Irving RB | TB

Buccaneers' Bucky Irving: Expected to suit up Sunday

Irving (hip), who is questionable for Sunday's Week 14 matchup against Las Vegas, is in line to play, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Irving missed Tampa Bay's first two practices of the week but was able to return as a limited participant Friday. Though he was deemed questionable entering the weekend, it appears the rookie running back will be able to take the field versus the Raiders on Sunday. Irving is coming off the best game of his pro career last week against Carolina, as he logged career-high totals of 25 carries for 152 yards along with a rushing touchdown while adding three catches for 33 yards through the air.

  • Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: In line for big role Week 14

Charbonnet appears set to lead Seattle's backfield Sunday versus Arizona with Kenneth Walker III (ankle/calf) downgraded to out for the critical NFC West clash.

Walker has been a workhorse for the Seahawks this season, relegating Charbonnet to a minor role as the team's backup RB. However, Walker will be unable to suit up for Sunday's matchup -- a game that will determine which of the two teams assumes control of the the division -- and Charbonnet will almost certainly be thrust into a bigger workload than usual as a result. When Walker missed two games earlier this season (in Weeks 2 and 3), Charbonnet stepped in and averaged 16 carries for 64.5 yards while scoring three total rushing touchdowns across the pair of contests, and he could be headed for a similar carry count against the Cardinals. Kenny McIntosh could be in the mix for an increase in offensive snaps as well, but he's unlikely to be given a large workload given that he hasn't logged a snap on offense in any of Seattle's past five games.

  • Dante Pettis WR | NO

Saints' Dante Pettis: Signed to active roster by NOLA

The Saints signed Pettis from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.

Pettis had been elevated from the Saints' practice squad for the last three games, and now he's set to be on the active roster for the rest of the 2024 regular season. Across his three outings, Pettis logged three catches (on four targets) for 22 yards while adding 26 kick return yards and 54 punt return yards.

  • Saints' Kevin Austin: Signed to Saints' active roster

New Orleans signed Austin from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.

Austin had been elevated from the practice squad for the Saints' last three games due to multiple injuries to the wide receiver corps. Over that span, Austin caught six passes (on seven targets) for 85 yards, and he saw his snap count on offense steadily increase. Austin will likely be on the field in three-wideout sets alongside Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Cedrick Wilson for Sunday's game against the Giants.
