Dodgers' Walker Buehler: Solid over five frames
Buehler did not factor into the decision in a win over the Padres on Thursday, allowing one run on five hits and one walk over five innings. He struck out one.
Buehler avoided much damage despite allowing at least one hit in four of his five innings of work. It marked the fifth consecutive start in which he was able to get through at least five innings, and he's allowed one run or fewer in two of his last three outings. Buehler did, however, post just one strikeout in Thursday's no-decision after fanning a season-high nine batters in his previous trip to the mound.

Dodgers' Walker Buehler: Season-high nine strikeouts in loss
Buehler (1-6) took the loss against the Rockies on Saturday, allowing four runs on five hits and one walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out nine.
Buehler struggled early, allowing a leadoff double to Charlie Blackmon to open the game followed by a walk to Ezequiel Tovar. The right-hander allowed one run in the frame, along with two more runs on a Tovar double in the following inning. Buehler did manage to get through five innings for the fourth consecutive start but not before allowing four or more runs for the second time in his last three outings. He now carries a 5.06 ERA in September through four starts, though his nine strikeouts Saturday did mark a season high for the 30-year-old.

Dodgers' Walker Buehler: Completes six frames
Buehler did not factor into the decision in Sunday's win over Atlanta, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and five walks while striking out five over six innings.
The five walks were not ideal for Buehler, who had three walks in the third inning, which contributed to two runs for Atlanta in the frame. Overall, he had one of his better outings of the season. It was his first time since May 31 reaching six innings and his second time over the last six starts allowing fewer than three earned runs. Buehler now owns a 5.54 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 54:26 K:BB in 65 innings and will look to keep the momentum going in his next start against Colorado over the weekend.

Dodgers' Walker Buehler: Drops to 1-5
Buehler (1-5) took the loss against the Cubs on Monday, allowing five runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out four batters over five innings.
Buehler fell behind 3-0 after one inning and gave up another run in the fourth. He began the sixth inning on the mound but allowed the first two hitters in the frame to reach base and was subsequently pulled. The right-hander has struggled since returning Aug. 14 from a nearly two-month stint on the injured list, posting a 6.14 ERA, 1.86 WHIP and 18:11 K:BB over 22 innings across five starts. The Dodgers have remained committed to giving him an opportunity to round back into the form that made him their Opening Day starter in 2022, but he hasn't been able to put things together this season and isn't a lock to make the team's potential postseason roster.

Dodgers' Walker Buehler: Unimpressive in no-decision
Buehler did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's win over the Orioles, allowing four runs (two earned) on five hits and one walk over 4.2 innings while striking out four.
Buehler retired the first four batters he faced before Ryan O'Hearn reached on a fielding error by Max Muncy with one out in the second. Cedric Mullins then reached on a dropped third strike, and Baltimore tallied three runs in the frame Buehler was later relieved by Anthony Banda after throwing 90 pitches on the night, marking the fourth consecutive start in which he's been unable to make it through five innings. The right-hander has also allowed multiple runs in eight straight outings (dating back to May 25 against the Reds) and now holds a 6.00 ERA and 8:8 K:BB across 12 frames in August.
