  • Dodgers' Gavin Stone: Placed on 60-day IL

Stone (shoulder) was placed on the 60-day injured list by the Dodgers on Tuesday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Stone was already expected to miss the entirety of the 2025 season after undergoing right shoulder surgery in October, so his move to the 60-day IL was an expected one. The transaction cleared a spot for Enrique Hernandez to join the 40-man roster after the Dodgers and Hernandez officially agreed on a one-year, $6.5 million contract Tuesday.

  • Dodgers' Gavin Stone: Likely out for 2025

Stone underwent right shoulder surgery Wednesday and is likely to miss the entire 2025 season, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Stone was initially sidelined with right shoulder inflammation in early September and was unable to return. He'll now likely be sidelined for all of 2025 after posting a promising 3.53 ERA and 1.21 WHIP with a 116:37 K:BB across 140.1 innings in 2024.

  • Dodgers' Gavin Stone: Transferred to 60-day IL

Stone (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Tuesday, Matthew Moreno of DodgerBlue.com reports.

Stone was already expected to miss the remainder of the 2024 regular season, and his move to the 60-day IL opens up a spot for Edgardo Henriquez on the 40-man roster. Stone is still working his way back from right shoulder inflammation, and he'll now be unavailable for the postseason.

  • Dodgers' Gavin Stone: Not expected back this season

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Wednesday that it's "very unlikely" Stone (shoulder) will return from the 15-day injured list this season, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Stone had been scheduled to begin a throwing program this past weekend, but that didn't happen, as he's yet to pick up a ball due to continued soreness in his right shoulder. The right-hander has missed all of September with shoulder inflammation. Stone's continued absence is yet another blow to a Dodgers rotation that's been decimated by injuries.
