  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Exiting lineup Monday

Pages is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Diamondbacks.

In Teoscar Hernandez's (adductor) first game back from the 10-day injured list, the Dodgers will go with Michael Conforto, Hyeseong Kim and Hernandez in the outfield. Pages hadn't had a day off in a month, so he could simply be receiving some routine rest Monday rather than being ticketed for a steep reduction in playing time with Hernandez back in the fold. Pages has slashed .356/.375/.634 with seven home runs over his last 24 contests.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Homers again Saturday

Pages went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 11-9 loss to the Angels.

Pages is sizzling at the plate lately, and that's included a recent burst of power. He's homered three times over his last four games, and he's batting .281 (18-for-64) over 15 contests in May. Overall, the outfielder is enjoying a breakout in his second major-league season, batting .288 with an .847 OPS, nine homers, 27 RBI, 23 runs scored and five stolen bases over 43 games. Pages has filled in for Teoscar Hernandez (groin) in right field lately, but given his recent strong play, manager Dave Roberts will likely find a spot for Pages on a near-everyday basis even once Hernandez returns from the injured list.

Pages went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Thursday's 19-2 rout of the Athletics.

The Dodgers' offense put on a show in the blowout victory, and Pages was in the middle of it, going yard to cap a seven-run third inning. That gave Los Angeles a 13-2 lead, and Pages was one of three regulars pulled before the top of the next frame in order to get some extra rest. The long ball was his second in as many games and continued a hot 10-game stretch at the plate during which the outfielder is slashing .349/.364/.581 with the two homers, 10 RBI, seven runs and two stolen bases.

Over his last 20 games, he's slashing .375/.405/.613 with four home runs, five doubles, one triple, 15 runs, 17 RBI and three stolen bases.

Pages went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's loss to the Nationals.

Pages was the only Dodgers player with multiple hits in the defeat, and he accounted for one of the team's two runs with a solo blast in the fifth inning. It's been a rough start to the campaign for the young outfielder -- even after Tuesday's performance, Pages is slashing a paltry .162/.311/.270. He's also had his share of defensive struggles in the outfield, but Los Angeles has mostly stuck with Pages, as he's appeared in 12 of the team's 13 games so far.
