  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Ruled out Saturday

Kuminga (knee) will not play Saturday against the 76ers.

Kuminga was unable to shake his questionable tag and will be sidelined for a second straight contest. With this news, Corey Kispert and Zaccharie Risacher could soak up some minutes at forward for Atlanta.

  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Questionable for Saturday

Kuminga (knee) is questionable for Saturday's game against the 76ers.

Kuminga sat out Wednesday's win over Milwaukee due to left knee inflammation, and Corey Kispert and Zaccharie Risacher absorbed his minutes. It'll be more of the same if he's out again Saturday, and managers can expect to get official confirmation on Kuminga's status closer to tipoff.

  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Out Wednesday

Kuminga (knee) won't play Wednesday in Milwaukee, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.

Kuminga has only one more chance to make an appearance this week, so managers currently going through the fantasy playoffs may want to consider dropping him for a player with more games. Kuminga's absence will open up minutes for Zaccharie Risacher and Corey Kispert.

  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Added to injury report

Kuminga is questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Bucks with left knee inflammation, per Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network.

Kuminga continues to be plagued by a nagging knee issue, which delayed his Hawks debut upon his arrival from Golden State. If the dynamic forward is unable to give it a go Wednesday, Zaccharie Risacher would be worthy of streaming consideration in shallow leagues and Corey Kispert in deeper formats.

  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Fares well off bench

Kuminga notched 20 points (7-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-7 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two steals across 25 minutes during Sunday's 135-101 victory over Portland.

Jalen Johnson (hip) and Nickeil Alexander-Walker (foot) returned to action Sunday, which pushed Kuminga to the bench, but he still played a sizable role off the bench and made the most of his minutes. He's off to a dream start in Atlanta, posting averages of 21.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.7 three-pointers across three appearances.

  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Back to bench

Kuminga will come off the bench during Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Kuminga was in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Wizards, but he will return to the bench due to Jalen Johnson (hip) and Nickeil Alexander-Walker (foot) returning to the lineup. In two games with the Hawks, Kuminga has averaged 22.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals in 27.0 minutes per contest.

  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Enters starting lineup

Kuminga is in the Hawks' starting lineup against the Wizards on Thursday, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Kuminga was impressive in his Hawks debut in Tuesday's blowout win against the Wizards, and he'll move into the starting five for Thursday's rematch due to the absences of Jalen Johnson (hip) and Nickeil Alexander-Walker (foot). Kuminga ended Tuesday's game with 27 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals over 24 minutes.

  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Impresses in team debut

Kuminga (knee) finished Tuesday's 119-98 win over the Wizards with 27 points (9-12 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and two steals over 24 minutes.

Acquired from the Warriors earlier this month, Kuminga wasn't cleared to make his Hawks debut until Tuesday after a lengthy recovery from a left knee bone bruise. Though he made just his third appearance since Dec. 20, Kuminga didn't exhibit any signs of rust and caught fire in the third quarter, when he poured in 18 of his season-high 27 points. With starting power forward Jalen Johnson (hip) exiting in the first quarter and not returning to the contest, Kuminga could be next in line to move up to the top unit if Johnson is unable to play in the Hawks' rematch with the Wizards on Thursday.

  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Available Tuesday

Kuminga (knee) is available for Tuesday's game against the Wizards.

Kuminga hasn't played since Jan. 22 due to a left knee bone bruise but will be available to make his Hawks debut Tuesday. The 23-year-old forward appeared in 20 regular-season outings (13 starts) with Golden State before being traded to Atlanta on Feb. 4. With the Warriors this season, he averaged 12.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 23.8 minutes per contest. It wouldn't be surprising to see Kuminga operate under a minutes restriction following the extended absence. Still, his return will leave fewer minutes available for the likes of Corey Kispert and Mouhamed Gueye.

  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Could return Tuesday

Kuminga (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Wizards, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

The Hawks last reported that Kuminga would be re-evaluated one week from Wednesday, but it appears he could have a chance to return earlier than initially indicated. Anthony Slater of ESPN.com notes the expectation is that Kuminga will ultimately gain clearance to make his team debut, but he'll need to prove his health leading up to tipoff before officially receiving the green light.

  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: To miss at least one more week

The Hawks announced Wednesday that Kuminga (knee) will be re-evaluated in about one week.

Kuminga remains in recovery mode after sustaining a left knee bone bruise in late January with the Warriors. As a result, it appears the forward will miss at least Atlanta's next four games before being re-evaluated. Until Kuminga is ready to make his Hawks debut, more playing time will remain available for Corey Kispert and Zaccharie Risacher.

  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Sidelined through All-Star break

Kuminga will have his left knee injury re-evaluated by medical staff after the All-Star break, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

Kuminga has been sidelined since sustaining a left knee bone bruise against the Mavericks on Jan. 22 while playing for the Warriors. Kuminga and Buddy Hield were traded by Golden State to Atlanta in exchange for Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) on Wednesday, but Kuminga will have to wait until after the All-Star break to make his Hawks debut. The earliest date he could return is against the 76ers on Thursday, Feb. 19.

  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Won't play Saturday

Kuminga (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Hornets.

Kuminga was traded to Atlanta on Wednesday but is still recovering from a left knee bone bruise and will have to wait to make his Hawks debut. His next opportunity to suit up will come Monday at Minnesota.

  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Headed to Atlanta

The Warriors traded Kuminga (knee), along with Buddy Hield, to the Hawks on Wednesday in exchange for Kristaps Porzingis, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Kuminga and the Warriors' relationship had been frayed for a while, and the two sides will finally split. Kuminga has been sidelined since Jan 22 due to a bone bruise in his left knee. Still just 23 years old, Kuminga has plenty of untapped potential, and Atlanta could be the right spot to tap into that upside. The forward's likeliest path to playing time will come as Jalen Johnson's backup, though he'll have to compete with Mouhamed Gueye and Asa Newell for minutes at the power forward spot. It's unlikely Kuminga will be available in time for Thursday's game against Utah, which would make his next chance to play Saturday against the Hornets.
