Jazz's RJ Luis: Still out against Spurs
Luis (knee) won't play in Monday's Summer League game against the Spurs, Ben Anderson of KSL News Salt Lake City reports.
Left knee soreness will cost Luis a fourth consecutive game Monday. The St. John's product has still yet to make his Summer League debut, with his next opportunity to suit up coming Wednesday against the Wizards.

Luis (knee) won't play in Sunday's Summer League game against the Warriors, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Luis will remain on the shelf due to left knee soreness, and he has yet to suit up in Summer League. Ace Bailey (hip) and Walter Clayton (hamstring) have also been ruled out, with their next chance to play coming Monday against the Spurs.

Luis (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's Summer League matchup against the Grizzlies, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Luis won't make his professional debut Monday due to left knee soreness. The wing signed a two-way contract with the Jazz after going undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft. He starred at St. John's last season, averaging 18.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals in 31.7 minutes per game while shooting 43.9 percent from the field and 33.6 percent from three over 35 appearances. His next chance to suit up will come Tuesday against the Thunder.

Jazz's RJ Luis: Lands in Utah
Luis agreed to a two-way contract with the Jazz on Thursday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
After going unselected in the 2025 NBA Draft, Luis, the reigning Big East Player of the Year, was able to secure on the Jazz's three two-way spots. During his junior season at St. John's in 2024-25, Luis averaged 18.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals in 31.7 minutes per contest while shooting 43.9 percent from the field and 33.6 percent from beyond the arc across 35 games last season. The wing brings an NBA-ready frame and physicality but must reduce his turnovers and make significant strides with his jump shot.
