Bulls' Javon Freeman-Liberty: SL tear continues
Freeman-Liberty generated 23 points (8-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 7-10 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and a steal across 33 minutes of Wednesday's 102-96 win over Milwaukee in Summer League.
Freeman-Liberty has scored at least 20 points in three of his previous four Summer League contests. In the one game in which he didn't reach that milestone, he scored 18 points. Freeman-Liberty hasn't appeared in an NBA game since 2023, but he's been one of the better scorers in the G League since.

Bulls' Jahmir Young: Offensive explosion in SL win
Young totaled 37 points (12-17 FG, 6-7 3Pt, 7-9 FT), three assists, two steals and one rebound across 33 minutes in Wednesday's 102-96 Summer League win over the Bucks.
Young dominated Wednesday's game, powering his team to a win with a game-high 37 points, including six made three-pointers. He saw limited NBA action during the 2024-25 season, appearing in just six regular-season games for the Bulls and averaging 1.8 points and 1.0 assists in 5.0 minutes per contest.

Bulls' Noa Essengue: Sidelined with quadriceps issue
Essengue (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Wednesday's Summer League game against the Bucks, Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com reports.
Essengue will sit out Wednesday's game due to a right quadriceps contusion, though he's considered day-to-day. The rookie is coming off a strong showing Monday against the Pacers, when he scored 21 points and buried three triples. His next opportunity to play will be Friday against the Jazz.

Bulls' Yuki Kawamura: Double-doubles off bench
Kawamura notched 15 points (4-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 10 assists, one rebound and three steals in 28 minutes of Tuesday's 114-105 Summer League win over the Pacers.
Kawamura, who was on a two-way contract with the Grizzlies in 2024-25, appeared in 22 regular-season games at the NBA level. He was a standout for the Memphis Hustle in the G League, however, so it's not a surprise to see him make an impression on the Bulls during the Summer League.

Bulls' Noa Essengue: Cashes trio of threes
Essengue totaled 21 points (7-14 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and one assist over 31 minutes in Monday's 114-105 Summer League win over the Pacers.
Essengue exited Saturday's game early with a quadriceps injury but returned Monday and went the distance to finish with 21 points. Outside shooting was viewed as a question mark for him entering the 2025 NBA Draft, so knocking down three three-pointers is an encouraging sign of potential growth.

Bulls' Matas Buzelis: Offensive explosion in SL win
Buzelis finished with 28 points (8-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 10-13 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block over 32 minutes in Monday's 114-105 Summer League win over the Pacers.
Buzelis looked confident Monday, finding success both attacking the rim and getting to the free-throw line. The 20-year-old may be poised for a breakout year after finishing his 2024-25 rookie season on a high note, averaging 13.6 points and 5.0 rebounds on 48.7 percent shooting in 26.9 minutes across his final 22 regular-season games.

Bulls' Noa Essengue: Cleared for Monday
Essengue (quadriceps) will play in Monday's Summer League game against the Pacers, Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com reports.
Essengue exited Saturday's game against the Kings early with a quadriceps injury after recording a double-double with 12 points (4-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-7 FT) and 10 rebounds. The clean bill of health is a relief for the Bulls, who selected him No. 12 overall in the 2025 NBA Draft out of France.

Buzelis (rest) will play in Monday's Summer League game against the Pacers, Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com reports.
Buzelis sat out Saturday's game against the Kings, though he'll return for Monday's contest. He appeared in Friday's loss to Toronto, posting 17 points (4-14 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal across 25 minutes.

Freeman-Liberty racked up 21 points (6-18 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 8-10 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Saturday's 109-92 Summer League loss to the Kings.
All five starters for the Bulls scored in double figures, led by Freeman-Liberty's 21 points. This is the second straight Summer League game during which he's reached that point total. He'll get a chance to make it three in a row Monday against the Pacers.

Bulls' Noa Essengue: Double-doubles in loss
Essengue (quadriceps) finished with 12 points (4-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-7 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block across 19 minutes during Saturday's 109-92 Summer League loss to the Kings.
Essengue was unable to finish Saturday's game in Las Vegas, as he suffered a quadriceps injury, resulting in only 19 minutes on the floor. However, that was long enough to record a double-double, as he put in work on the glass and in the scoring column. He ripped down a team-high 10 rebounds before being ruled out for the rest of the game.

Bulls' Matas Buzelis: Won't play vs. Sacramento
Buzelis (rest) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Kings, Joel Lorenzi of The Athletic reports.
Buzelis struggled in the shooting department during Friday's game against the Raptors, going 4-for-14 from the floor. However, he still finished with 17 points, hitting all seven of his free-throw attempts. He won't be back on the floor until Monday's matchup against the Pacers due to rest purposes.

Bulls' Javon Freeman-Liberty: Scores 21 points in SL
Freeman-Liberty generated 21 points (5-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 10-13 FT), two rebounds, one steal and one block during Friday's 116-72 loss to the Raptors in Summer League.
Freeman-Liberty got to the rim at will Friday, forcing the Raptors to give up an easy two or send him to the free-throw line. His efforts resulted in a team-leading 21 points in merely 24 minutes. Freeman-Liberty hasn't appeared in an NBA game since 2023, but he's averaged over 20 points per game in the G League in back-to-back seasons.

Bulls' Matas Buzelis: Scores 17 points in SL opener
Buzelis generated 17 points (4-14 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five rebounds, an assist, a steal and two blocks over 25 minutes of Friday's 116-72 loss to Toronto in Summer League.
Although Buzelis struggled with his shot Friday, he was effective at getting to the free-throw line, where he went perfect on seven attempts. He made an impact on the defensive end as well, pacing the Bulls in blocked shots. Entering his second NBA season, Buzelis seems to be competing for a position in the starting five.
