Pacers' Myles Turner: Ruled out against LAL
Turner (neck) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Lakers, Tony East of WTHR Channel 13 Indianapolis reports.
Turner will miss Saturday's game against the Lakers with a neck strain, which could prove costly for Indiana. The veteran big man is averaging 15.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.8 blocks per game and shooting a career-high 39.8 percent from beyond the arc. With the 28-year-old on the mend, Thomas Bryant and Obi Toppin will likely see a boost in minutes against Los Angeles.

Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton: Busy night on defense
Haliburton ended with 14 points (5-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, eight assists, one block and four steals over 34 minutes during Thursday's 119-112 victory over the Clippers.
The four pilfers were Haliburton's best showing in that category since he racked up five steals against the Raptors on Nov. 18. The fifth-year point guard has been struggling to find his shot to begin February -- he posted a goose egg against the Trail Blazers on Tuesday -- but he's made up for it with his play at the other end of the court. Haliburton has recorded at least one steal in six straight games and rejected at least one shot in five of those contests, averaging 17.8 points, 6.8 assists, 3.7 boards, 3.0 threes, 2.2 steals and 1.3 blocks during that span.

Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Nabs first double-double of year
Bryant registered 12 points (4-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists and one block across 28 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 119-112 victory over the Clippers.
The double-double was Bryant's first of the season, as the 27-year-old center took advantage of an opportunity for a bigger role after Myles Turner (concussion) headed to the locker room after playing only six minutes. Obi Toppin also wound up seeing 28 minutes off the bench Thursday, and both players could be handed larger workloads if Turner misses additional time.

Pacers' Bennedict Mathurin: Makes up for early accident
Mathurin racked up 25 points (8-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 8-12 FT), six rebounds and four assists in 28 minutes during Thursday's 119-112 win over the Clippers.
Early on, it looked like Mathurin might end up being the goat in an Indiana loss -- he accidentally hit Myles Turner (concussion) in the face while going for a rebound just six minutes into the game, and the center never returned to the court. In part because of that turmoil, the Pacers found themselves staring at a 42-22 deficit after the first frame, but Mathurin stepped up in a big way and helped fuel a big comeback. It was the third-year guard's best scoring effort since he hung 25 on the Bucks on New Year's Eve and just the second time he's produced 20 or more points in his last seven appearances, a stretch in which he's failed to play 30 minutes in any contest. The slight workload decline has led to Mathurin averaging 15.4 points, 4.1 boards, 1.1 assists and 1.1 threes in 25.0 minutes despite shooting 54.8 percent from the floor.

Pacers' Pascal Siakam: Huge double-double in comeback win
Siakam recorded a game-high 33 points (13-19 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 35 minutes during Thursday's 119-112 victory over the Clippers.
The veteran forward took control of the game for the Pacers after the visitors staggered through a brutal first quarter that saw the Clippers build a 42-22 lead, in part because Myles Turner (concussion) left the court after only six minutes. The double-double was Siakam's eighth of the season, and it was the 10th time in the last 13 games that he's delivered at least 20 points -- a stretch in which he's averaging 23.7 points, 7.6 boards, 3.5 assists, 1.5 threes, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks while shooting 57.9 percent from the floor.

Pacers' Myles Turner: Exits early with possible concussion
Turner will be evaluated for a concussion and won't return to Thursday's game against the Clippers, Scott Agness of FieldhouseFiles.com reports.
Turner produced zero points (0-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and one steal over six minutes before exiting with 6:13 left in the opening quarter after he was inadvertently struck in the face by teammate Bennedict Mathurin. Though the Pacers haven't confirmed that Turner was diagnosed with a concussion, the team's decision to rule him out likely suggests that he was experiencing related symptoms. His availability for the Pacers' next game Saturday versus the Lakers would seem to be in peril.

Pacers' Myles Turner: Heads to locker room
Turner (head) went to the locker room during Thursday's game against the Clippers, Scott Agness of FieldhouseFiles.com reports.
After logging six minutes Thursday against the Clippers, Turner had to be taken to the locker room with an apparent head injury after being inadvertently hit by Pacers teammate Bennedict Mathurin. The veteran big man recorded one steal while going 0-for-4 from the floor before heading to the locker room at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.

Pacers' Obi Toppin: Sees just nine minutes
Toppin contributed zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one block in nine minutes during Tuesday's 112-89 loss to Portland.
With just nine minutes of action, Toppin saw his lowest workload since Dec. 26. He's averaged just 15.8 minutes over his last 10 appearances, but has been productive in those limited minutes with 8.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists.

Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Tries to pick up slack in loss
Nembhard logged 17 points (6-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals over 27 minutes during Tuesday's 112-89 loss to the Trail Blazers.
Supplanting Tyrese Haliburton's production is no easy feat, but Nembhard did his level best amid his teammate's struggles in the loss. The guard was rewarded for his excellent work on defense in January, earning the title of Eastern Conference Defensive Player of the Month.

Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton: Held scoreless in loss
Haliburton amassed zero points (0-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds, six assists, two blocks and one steal in 25 minutes during Tuesday's 112-89 loss to Portland.
Although the Pacers are accustomed to an occasional low-scoring total from Haliburton, metrics suggest that you shouldn't expect much from the Pacers when he falters. The team is 3-7 when Haliburton scores less than 10 points, and the bench couldn't offer enough support to keep pace with the Trail Blazers.

Bryant is coming off the bench in Tuesday's game against the Trail Blazers, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Following Monday's spot start against Utah, Bryant will retreat to Indiana's bench in the return of Myles Turner (ankle) on Tuesday. Bryant has averaged 6.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 0.9 threes in 13.4 minutes while shooting 43.6 percent from deep over 20 appearances from the Pacers' second unit in 2024-25.

Pacers' Aaron Nesmith: Good to go Tuesday
Nesmith (ankle) is available for Tuesday's game versus the Trail Blazers, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Nesmith has been upgraded from questionable to available despite dealing with a sprained right ankle. Nesmith has been struggling with his outside shot as of late, converting just 26.7 percent of his 3.0 three-point attempts per contest over his last five outings.

Pacers' Enrique Freeman: Available Tuesday
Freeman (illness) is available for Tuesday's game against Portland.
The two-way player has overcome an illness and will be available off Indiana's bench Tuesday. However, Freeman hasn't appeared for the Pacers since the Jan. 8 win over Chicago, so it's not guaranteed he'll see the court against the Trail Blazers.

Pacers' Myles Turner: Available Tuesday
Turner (ankle) is available for Tuesday's game against Portland, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Turner will return to game action after missing Monday's win over Utah due to a right peroneal strain. Over his last five outings, the big man has averaged 17.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.4 three-pointers, 2.0 assists, 0.8 blocks and 0.8 steals in 30.4 minutes per contest. The 28-year-old has shot only 40.9 percent from the field in that five-game span, though he has shot an efficient 37.5 percent from beyond the arc.
