Timberwolves' Leonard Miller: Shows out in Rising Stars event
Miller logged five points (2-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal over 7:34 of court time during Team G League's 25-14 loss to Team C in the Rising Stars final.
Miller led the G League team in their 40-39 upset win over Team M in the semifinals, and he finished that contest with a game-high 14 points (7-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt), seven rebounds and one steal over 12:17 of court time. He wasn't able to carry that momentum into the finals, but Miller played a crucial role in the G League making it to that far. The 2023 second-round pick has seen sparse playing time with the Timberwolves, but he could see more minutes off the bench following the All-Star break.

Alexander-Walker logged 14 points (5-11 FG, 4-9 3Pt), six rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes during Thursday's 116-101 victory over Oklahoma City.
The 26-year-old guard delivered a solid performance in his extended playing time with Mike Conley (finger) and Donte DiVincenzo (toe) on the shelf. Alexander-Walker sank four triples in the win, marking his 13th appearance of the season with at least three three-pointers. The sixth-year pro has started in each of the club's last four outings, averaging 11.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.3 three-pointers in 31.8 minutes per contest.

Shannon finished Thursday's 116-101 win over Oklahoma City with 13 points (4-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds and one assist in 29 minutes.
The rookie first-round pick received a season-high 29 minutes with Mike Conley (finger), Julius Randle (groin), Rudy Gobert (back) and Donte DiVincenzo (toe) all on the shelf. Additionally, Shannon logged a season-high 13 points while leading the bench in scoring. The 24-year-old has seen double-digit playing time in each of the club's last four outings, averaging 7.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 18.8 minutes per contest in that four-game span.

Timberwolves' Jaden McDaniels: Hits for 21 in Thursday's win
McDaniels accumulated 21 points (9-18 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds and five assists in 37 minutes during Thursday's 116-101 victory over the Thunder.
The fifth-year forward has found an extra level of consistency in February. McDaniels has scored in double digits in eight straight games to begin the month, averaging 17.5 points, 7.8 boards, 3.0 assists, 1.5 threes, 1.3 steals and 1.1 blocks while shooting 50.0 percent from the floor. His surge in productivity has come while Julius Randle (groin) has been sidelined, and McDaniels will likely see his usage and shot volume decline significantly once Randle is cleared to return.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Carries momentum into break
Edwards had 23 points (5-18 FG, 3-12 3Pt, 10-11 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists and three steals across 36 minutes during Thursday's 116-101 win over the Thunder.
The fifth-year guard heads into the All-Star break maintaining a high level of play. Edwards has scored more than 20 points while draining multiple three-pointers in 16 straight appearances dating back to Jan. 13, averaging 32.4 points, 6.3 boards, 5.3 assists, 4.3 triples, 1.1 steals and 0.9 blocks over that impressive stretch.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Leads team to upset win
Reid racked up a game-high 27 points (11-18 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 14 rebounds, seven assists and one block over 38 minutes during Thursday's 116-101 victory over the Thunder.
With Rudy Gobert (back) and Julius Randle (groin) both unavailable, Reid stepped up and led all scorers on the night while setting new season highs in boards and assists. The 25-year-old big has started eight straight games in place of Randle, and over the last seven, he's averaged 21.3 points, 9.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 3.0 threes and 1.4 blocks.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Will go Thursday
Edwards (hip) is available and starting Thursday's game against the Thunder.
Edwards was a true game-time call leading up to Thursday's clash, but he'll ultimately be able to run the floor in his club's final matchup before the break. He'll be leaned on even more than usual with Mike Conley (finger), Julius Randle (thigh) and Rudy Gobert (back) all ruled out.

Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Won't suit up Thursday
Gobert (back) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Thunder, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.
Gobert will miss his first contest of the season while he deals with lower back spasms. His next chance to play will come Feb. 21 against the Rockets. With the big man set to join Julius Randle (thigh) on the shelf, Luka Garza and Joe Ingles could see a bump in minutes Thursday.

Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Remains out Thursday
Conley (finger) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Thunder, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.
The veteran point guard will miss his fourth consecutive contest due to a right index finger sprain. His next chance to play will come Feb. 21 against the Rockets. Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Rob Dillingham are candidates for an uptick in playing time with Conley sidelined.

Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Iffy against Thunder
Conley (finger) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game versus the Thunder.
Conley is in danger of missing his fourth straight contest due to a sprained right index finger. Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Rob Dillingham should continue to receive increased playing time if Conley is ruled out yet again.

Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Questionable against OKC
Gobert is listed as questionable for Thursday's game versus the Thunder due to low back spasms.
Gobert is in danger of missing his first game of the season Thursday due to back spasms. If the defensive stalwart is ultimately ruled out, Naz Reid and Luka Garza will likely receive increased playing time against Oklahoma City.

Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Efficient double-double
Gobert closed with 20 points (10-14 FG), 14 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 103-101 loss to Milwaukee.
Gobert has been playing well of late, and it seems he's doing more damage playing alongside Naz Reid in the frontcourt rather than alongside Julius Randle (thigh). Over the last seven games in which Reid has started alongside Gobert, the Frenchman has racked up six double-doubles while averaging 15.0 points, 12.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 blocks per contest.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Posts double-double
Reid closed Wednesday's 103-101 loss to the Bucks with 22 points (7-17 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists and one block in 33 minutes.
The Timberwolves had to settle for a two-point loss in this tight contest, but Reid still managed to deliver an impressive stat line as he continues to fill a starting role due to the absence of Julius Randle (thigh). Reid has three double-doubles over his last five appearances and is averaging 18.6 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game since being promoted to a starting nod.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Attempts 33 shots in loss
Edwards ended Wednesday's 103-101 loss to the Bucks with 28 points (10-33 FG, 4-17 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and two steals across 37 minutes.
The 33 shot attempts were a season-high mark for Edwards, but the star guard converted only 30.3 percent of his shots while the Timberwolves suffered a tight two-point defeat. Edwards still found a way to finish with 28 points, which is in line with his scoring average of the current campaign, but the shooting woes can't be overlooked. The star guard heads into the All-Star break with averages of 27.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game across 53 contests.
