Anderson filled in with a solid line in place of Julius Randle (hand), who will likely remain out for the team's regular-season finale against the Pelicans. Anderson's participation since joining the Timberwolves has been limited, but he provides critical minutes with the second unit and can help boost the team's rebounding when Randle or Rudy Gobert sits.

With the sixth seed in the Western Conference sealed up, the Timberwolves have begun to empty the bench. Rudy Gobert (rest) was a healthy scratch for a second consecutive game, giving the team's 2025 first-round pick additional opportunities. We may have seen the last from Edwards in the regular season, as the Timberwolves are locked into the sixth seed in the Western Conference. A week off will do Edwards some good, as a lingering knee injury has forced him to miss 10 of Minnesota's last 13 contests. There will likely be no need to put Edwards on the court Sunday against the Pelicans. With Ayo Dosunmu (calf) also dealing with an injury, we could see more from Terrence Shannon in the finale.

Beringer is in the Timberwolves' starting lineup against the Rockets on Friday, Lachard Binkley of SI.com reports.
With Rudy Gobert (rest) and Naz Reid (shoulder) both ruled out, Beringer will be in the Timberwolves' starting lineup for the second time this season. The rookie first-rounder made his first career start Feb. 22 against the 76ers, when he played 17 minutes and finished with seven points and three rebounds in a 135-108 loss.
