Magic's Wendell Carter: Remains out for Friday
Carter (foot) will remain out for Friday's game against New Orleans.
Carter will now miss his third consecutive game, and fourth out of the last five overall, due to his foot injury. Carter's next opportunity to return will be Sunday against the Wizards, but while he is sidelined Moritz Wagner and Goga Bitadze will have an increased role as the team's big men.

Magic's Franz Wagner: Big first half in standout showing
Wagner produced 28 points (10-23 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-8 FT), eight rebounds and six assists in 39 minutes during Wednesday's 118-111 loss to Indiana.
Wagner put on a show for Orlando, including getting off to a red-hot start in the first half to conclude the contest with a game-best scoring total. Wagner, who scored 21 points in the first half alone, also handed out a team-high-tying assist total and was second on the team in scoring in Wednesday's losing effort. Wagner recorded his fifth outing of the year with at least 20 points, and he has done so in two straight contests.

Magic's Anthony Black: Best outing of season off bench
Black contributed 12 points (4-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six assists and two steals over 27 minutes during Wednesday's 118-111 loss to Indiana.
Black led all Magic players in minutes played off the bench Wednesday, and he took advantage of that extra time while putting together his best performance of the young season. Black led all Orlando players with a pair of steals while handing out a team-high-tying assist total and concluding as one of two Magic bench players in double figures in scoring. Black set a new season high in scoring, and he has now reached the double-digit mark in four outings.

Magic's Goga Bitadze: First double-double of year in loss
Bitadze recorded 10 points (5-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt), 12 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and one steal across 30 minutes during Wednesday's 118-111 loss to Indiana.
Bitadze took care of business on the boards in Wednesday's loss, leading all players in the contest in rebounds while ending as one of six Magic players in double figures in scoring in a double-double performance. Bitadze set a new season high in rebounds en route to his first double-double of the campaign. He has now tallied a double-digit point total in two straight outings.

Magic's Wendell Carter: Won't play Wednesday
Carter (foot) will not play Wednesday against the Pacers.
Carter will miss a second straight game Wednesday, and it's not a great sign that he's being ruled out 24 hours in advance of tipoff. Goga Bitadze moved into the starting lineup Monday against the Thunder and fared well, producing 11 points, nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 27 minutes.

Magic's Cory Joseph: Cracks rotation again Monday
Joseph recorded three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt) in three minutes during Monday's 102-86 loss to the Thunder.
Joseph remained in the rotation, albeit in a very limited role, highlighting just how desperate the Magic are at the moment. With Paolo Banchero (oblique) slated to miss more than a month of action, Orlando is struggling to find a spark, especially on the offensive end. Although he has featured in three consecutive games, Joseph is not the answer the Magic are looking for.

Magic's Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: Delivers four steals in loss
Caldwell-Pope contributed six points (1-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, two assists, one block and four steals over 31 minutes during Monday's 102-86 loss to Oklahoma City.
Caldwell-Pope continues to be a non-factor on the offensive end, although once again chipped in decent defensive contributions. The Magic signed Caldwell-Pope during the offseason to bolster their perimeter scoring while adding to their already strong defensive presence. To this point, he has somewhat lived up to expectations on the defensive end. As for the offensive end, they would love for him to show a little more aggression.

Magic's Goga Bitadze: Flirts with double-double
Bitadze notched 11 points (5-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 27 minutes during Monday's 102-86 loss to Oklahoma City.
Bitadze returned to action after missing five consecutive games with a foot injury. The timing couldn't have been better for the Magic who lost Wendell Carter to a foot injury in their previous game. Bitadze moved straight into the starting lineup, ending with a decent night's work. Although he is likely to split minutes with Moritz Wagner, Bitadze can contribute on both ends of the floor when afforded additional playing time.

Magic's Goga Bitadze: Starting Monday
Bitadze is in the Magic's starting five for Monday's game against the Thunder.
Bitadze missed the Magic's last five games due to a strained tendon in his left foot. Not only will he return Monday, but he will also slide into the starting lineup while Wendell Carter is sidelined with a foot injury of his own. Bitadze hasn't played more than six minutes over his three regular-season outings, and though he's starting Monday, he could see less playing time than Moritz Wagner.

Magic's Goga Bitadze: Available to play
Bitadze (foot) is available to play Monday against the Thunder, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Bitadze will shake off his questionable tag and return from a five-game absence. With Wendell Carter (foot) sidelined Monday, Bitadze should find himself in the rotation, though Moritz Wagner may be the better bet to see most of the minutes at center.

Magic's Wendell Carter: Won't play Monday
Carter (foot) won't play Monday against the Thunder, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Carter was previously considered questionable, but the Magic will hold him out Monday evening. Fortunately for Orlando, Goga Bitadze (foot) has been given the green light to play. Bitadze and Moritz Wagner are candidates for increased roles in Carter's absence.

Magic's Jalen Suggs: Struggles in loss to Dallas
Suggs closed Sunday's 108-85 loss to the Mavericks with 10 points (4-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal across 29 minutes.
Suggs is one of the players who need to step up for the Magic in the absence of Paolo Banchero (oblique). However, Suggs was unable to make an impact Sunday and was limited to just 10 points while finishing with more field-goal attempts than points scored. Suggs was coming off four straight games with 17 or more points.

Magic's Moritz Wagner: Decent line but poor shooting
Wagner registered 10 points (3-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and six rebounds over 20 minutes during Sunday's 108-85 loss to the Mavericks.
Wagner ended up with a decent stat line, though he had one of his worst shooting performances of the campaign. The Magic are extremely thin in terms of frontcourt depth, with Wendell Carter (foot) and Goga Bitadze (foot) being questionable for Monday's matchup at Oklahoma City, so it wouldn't be surprising if Wagner gets the nod in the starting lineup in that contest. For what is worth, Wagner scored in double digits in three of his last four contests, averaging 11.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per contest in that span.

Magic's Franz Wagner: Makes most of limited minutes
Wagner ended with 13 points (6-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt), six rebounds, six assists and two steals in 25 minutes during Sunday's 108-85 loss to Dallas.
Wagner was limited to just 25 minutes in Sunday's loss due to the nature of the contest -- it was a blowout by the time the third quarter started -- and Orlando ended up being limited to a season-low 85 points. Wagner started the season on a tear but has been trending in the wrong direction lately. He's failed to reach the 20-point mark in four games in a row, averaging 11.0 points per game despite shooting 42.6 percent from the field in that span. The Magic need more out of the fourth-year forward, especially with Paolo Banchero (oblique) sidelined for an extended period.
