Magic's Cole Anthony: Aggravates toe injury
Anthony won't return to Sunday's game against the Cavaliers due to a left big toe strain, Mason Williams of SI.com reports.
After missing the last two games with the same injury, Anthony tried to play through the left big toe strain but played just six minutes before the Magic shut him down for the day. The 24-year-old will finish the contest with two points (0-1 FG, 2-2 FT). Cory Joseph and Anthony Black will likely shoulder the workload at point guard the rest of the way.

Magic's Tristan da Silva: Retreating to bench Sunday
Da Silva will come off the bench in Sunday's game against Cleveland, Mason Williams of SI.com reports.
The rookie will retreat to the bench due to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (rest) returning to game action. Da Silva has received inconsistent playing time over his last 10 outings (one start), during which he has averaged 4.1 points and 1.8 rebounds across 14.5 minutes per contest.

Magic's Cole Anthony: Questionable for Sunday
Anthony (toe) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cavaliers.
Anthony has missed two games in a row due to a left big toe injury, and it's unclear if the 24-year-old will manage to suit up Sunday. Cory Joseph and Anthony Black will likely cover most of the minutes at point guard if Anthony is sidelined once again.

Magic's Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: Good to go against Cleveland
Caldwell-Pope (rest) isn't on the injury report for Sunday's game versus the Cavaliers.

Magic's Jett Howard: Unproductive again Friday
Howard finished with two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one rebound over four minutes during Friday's 118-111 loss to Minnesota.
Howard continues to be a non-factor for the Magic, having now scored in single digits in 17 straight games. Despite a number of injuries that have resulted in a lack of backcourt depth, Howard has been unable to capitalize. Across 55 games played, he is averaging just 4.1 points and 0.9 three-pointers in 11.2 minutes.

Magic's Gary Harris: Muted role continues
Harris totaled three points (1-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and two blocks across 21 minutes during Friday's 118-111 loss to Minnesota.
Harris was back in the rotation, albeit for just 21 minutes off the bench. It's been another disappointing season for the veteran, who has been hampered by ongoing hamstring issues. He has played in just 34 games thus far, averaging 3.0 points in 15.4 minutes per contest.

Magic's Caleb Houstan: Pops for 18 points
Houstan provided 18 points (6-9 FG, 6-8 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and four steals over 27 minutes during Friday's 118-111 loss to the Timberwolves.
Houstan scored a season-high 18 points while adding four thefts, also marking a season-best output. With Kentavious Caldwell-Pope resting, Houstan played at least 25 minutes for just the sixth time this season. Prior to Friday, he had scored a total of just 19 points in his previous six games.

Magic's Cole Anthony: Questionable Friday
Anthony (toe) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against Minnesota.
Anthony is in jeopardy of missing the second night of a back-to-back set after sitting out of Thursday's win over the Pelicans due to a strained left big toe. If the 24-year-old combo guard remains sidelined, Cory Joseph and Anthony Black are candidates for a bump in minutes.

Magic's Cory Joseph: Big minutes in Thursday's win
Joseph contributed 12 points (4-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and three assists in 30 minutes during Thursday's 113-93 win over the Pelicans.
With Jalen Suggs (knee) done for the season and Cole Anthony (toe) also sidelined, Joseph started at point guard and saw his biggest workload of the campaign while setting new season highs in points and boards. Anthony was likely just sitting out the front half of a back-to-back for injury maintenance reasons, so Joseph could return to his usual spot at the end of the bench Friday in Minnesota.

Magic's Franz Wagner: Hit for 27 in New Orleans
Wagner had 27 points (11-17 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one steal in 35 minutes during Thursday's 113-93 victory over the Pelicans.
After three straight games of scoring in the teens, Wagner was more efficient with his shot Thursday while still supplying his usual contributions in secondary categories. The fourth-year forward has scored 25 or more points six times in 11 games since the All-Star break, a stretch in which he's averaging 22.7 points, 5.3 boards, 4.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 threes.
