Colts' Ryan Kelly: Confident in return this season
Kelly underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and expects to play again in 2024, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports.
Kelly was sent to the Colts' injured-reserve list ahead of Week 10, so he'll be required to sit out until at least Week 15 at Denver. Whether Indianapolis feels there's any urgency to rush him back at that point could depend on its position in the AFC playoff picture, or lack thereof.

Colts' Ryan Kelly: Lands on IR
The Colts placed Kelly on injured reserve Tuesday with a knee injury.
Kelly had been listed on the Colts' Week 9 injury report with knee and calf injuries, but he played every snap in this past Sunday's loss to the Vikings. His condition may have worsened during the game, however, and while Kelly's knee injury isn't expected to be season-ending, he'll be sidelined for the next four games after being placed on IR. In Kelly's absence, rookie fourth-round pick Tanor Bortolini is expected to take over as the Colts' starting center.

Colts' Ryan Kelly: Good to go for Sunday
Kelly (calf) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against Dolphins and is expected to play.
Kelly missed Weeks 4 and 5 with a neck injury and then suffered a calf injury in last week's win over the Titans. He was unable to return to that game, but it's evidently not a serious issue for the Colts' center.

Colts' Ryan Kelly: Missing Wednesday's practice
Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that Kelly (calf) won't practice Wednesday, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.
Kelly departed Sunday's win over the Titans with the calf injury, so his absence to begin Week 7 prep isn't much of a surprise. If Kelly isn't cleared to play this weekend against the Dolphins, rookie Tanor Bortolini will likely step in as Indianapolis' starting center.

Colts' Ryan Kelly: Cleared from injury
Kelly (neck) was a full participant during practice Wednesday.
Kelly has missed the Colts' last two games, but after logging a full practice Friday, he should be set to play Sunday against the Titans. With his return to play, Indianapolis will get back its starting center, moving Tanor Bortolini back to a depth role.

Colts' Ryan Kelly: Officially inactive for Week 5
Kelly (neck) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
As expected, Kelly has been downgraded from doubtful to out after not practicing during Week 5 prep. In Kelly's absence, Tanor Bortolini will likely start at center again after making his first career NFL start last week versus the Steelers.

Colts' Ryan Kelly: Downgraded to doubtful for Week 5
Kelly (neck) is now listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Despite missing all three practices this week, Kelly was initially listed as questionable for Sunday's divisional matchup. However, it appears that the veteran center will be held out for a second straight week due to a neck injury. If Kelly is inactive, Tanor Bortolini will be the starting center for the Colts.
