Jones was released by the Raiders on Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Jones, who has not played with the Raiders this season, was on the reserve/non-football illness list at the time of this transaction and also was arrested Thursday in relation to two violations of a domestic temporary restraining order. The league is aware of Jones' arrest and is "closely monitoring the matter."
