  • Browns' Jameis Winston: QBs to Start

Winston faced the Steelers in the snow in Week 12 and passed for 219 yards, no touchdowns, and an interception, and he added a rushing touchdown for 13.4 Fantasy points. This isn't an easy matchup, and Pittsburgh is No. 1 in the fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. But Winston is averaging 47.8 pass attempts per game in his four non-snow games, and he just passed for 497 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions at Denver in Week 13. Joe Burrow just had 25.3 Fantasy points against the Steelers in Week 13, and I like Winston as a low-end No. 1 quarterback in all leagues.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Adds/Streamers (QB Preview)

If it wasn't for the awful matchup, Winston may be ranked as a top-five QB in Week 14. Just remember, the last time he faced this defense, he only threw for 219 yards and didn't throw a touchdown pass. Still, there are six teams on a bye, and he just threw for 497 yards and four touchdowns against the Broncos, the team that used to be the number one defense versus quarterbacks. The weather should be good in Pittsburgh this week, and I'm trusting the guy who is averaging 24 FPPG as a starter.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Week 14 Waiver Priority List

The full Winston experience was on display in Week 13 at Denver. He passed for 497 yards and four touchdowns, but he also threw three interceptions, including two returned for touchdowns. He's now scored at least 29.6 Fantasy points in three of five starts with the Browns, and he's worth using as a low-end starter in Week 14 at Pittsburgh. He only scored 13.5 Fantasy points against the Steelers in Week 12, but that game was in the snow. Winston has attempted at least 41 passes in every non-snow game, and he should get plenty of volume in the rematch with Pittsburgh, which will help in a tough matchup. He also has a tough matchup in Week 15 against Kansas City, but then he gets Cincinnati in Week 16, which is fantastic. Winston is worth adding in all leagues for 5-10 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Career-high passing total in loss

Winston completed 34 of 58 passes for 497 yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions while adding three rushes for 11 yards in the Browns' 41-32 loss to the Broncos on Monday night. He also threw a two-point conversion pass. Winston's final line was a signature one for a quarterback who's always combined a high risk tolerance with ill-timed throws, a recipe for an abundance of both yardage and turnovers. Both came to fruition Monday night, with Winston impressively dissecting what had been a suffocating Denver secondary over the course of the game with a major assist from former Broncos receiver Jerry Jeudy. Winston connected with Jeudy for 235 of his 497 yards, including a 70-yard touchdown, and he also facilitated a 100-yard performance for Elijah Moore while tallying a pair of scoring tosses to David Njoku (eight and four yards) and another to Nick Chubb (five yards). However, Winston's last two interceptions snuffed out any hope of a Cleveland victory, with Ja'Quan McMillian recording the Broncos' second pick-six of the night at the 1:48 mark of the fourth quarter to expand a 34-32 lead, and Cody Barton then snagging a pass intended for Njoku in the end zone with 44 seconds remaining. Despite the unpleasant finish for Winston and the Browns, the veteran signal-caller has raised the ceiling of Cleveland's offense several notches above what it was under Deshaun Watson, but he'll have another tough assignment on paper in a Week 14 road rematch with the Steelers.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: QBs to Sit

Winston has scored at least 29.6 Fantasy points in two good matchups this season against Baltimore and New Orleans, and he scored 13.5 points or less in two bad matchups against the Chargers and Pittsburgh. This is a bad matchup at Denver, so you should sit Winston in the majority of one-quarterback leagues. The Broncos are No. 5 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, and Lamar Jackson, in Week 9, is the lone quarterback with more than 20 Fantasy points against Denver this season. Winston is only worth using in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues in Week 13.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Gutsy performance in gritty win

Winston completed 18 of 27 passes for 219 yards with no touchdowns and one interception and rushed three times for seven yards and a touchdown in the Browns' 24-19 win over the Steelers on Thursday night. He also lost a fumble and threw a two-point conversion pass. Winston braved increasingly deteriorating weather conditions throughout the hard-fought victory, and he ultimately led the Browns to an upset with the help of his leaping two-yard fourth-down touchdown run and subsequent two-point conversion pass to David Njoku early in the fourth quarter. Then, after subsequently losing a fumble that led to a Steelers touchdown and throwing an interception in Pittsburgh territory on the next two possessions, Winston responded by driving the Browns for a game-winning score with a nine-play, 45-yard march through the snow. While he finished with his lowest passing yardage total yet over his four starts, that was understandable given the weather, the fact he lost wide receiver Cedric Tillman to a concussion in the second half and a matchup against one of the league's most talented defenses. It doesn't get any easier for Winston and the Browns, as they travel to face the Broncos in a Week 13 Monday night matchup on Dec. 2.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: QBs to Sit

We have a three-game sample size for Winston as the starter for the Browns, and he was excellent in two good matchups against Baltimore in Week 8 (29.6 Fantasy points) and New Orleans in Week 11 (30.6 points), but he struggled against the Chargers in Week 9 (12.1 points), which is a tough defense. He's facing another tough defense in Week 12 against the Steelers, who are No. 2 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing defenses. In the past two weeks, Pittsburgh has limited Jayden Daniels and Lamar Jackson to a combined 25.5 Fantasy points. This could be a rough game for Winston on Thursday night.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Could be affected by weather Thursday

Winston's pass attempts could be scaled back in Thursday's game against the Steelers with high winds and rain and/or snow in the forecast for Cleveland, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports. Winston attempted at least 41 passes in his first three starts since taking over for the injured Deshaun Watson (Achilles), with Winston dropping back on more than two-thirds of Cleveland's offensive plays. Thanks to the heavy volume, Winston accrued 395 passing yards and two touchdowns in this past Sunday's 35-14 loss to the Saints, but the unfavorable weather forecast for the Week 12 game could prompt the Browns to lean more heavily on their Nick Chubb-led ground attack.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Adds/Streamers (QB Preview)

I hate the matchup for Winston, but he's averaging 23.4 FPPG since he took over as the starter, and there are six teams on a bye, so he's pretty clearly the second-best streamer behind Richardson. He's thrown at least 41 passes in three straight games, and he's averaging more than 300 yards per game. You may want to hide your eyes for the first three quarters, but even if the Steelers trounce the Browns, Winston can save the day in garbage time.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Week 12 Waiver Priority List

Winston's upcoming schedule is brutal with matchups against Pittsburgh twice (Weeks 12 and 14), Denver (Week 13) and Kansas City (Week 15), but he's proven capable of big outings and plenty of volume since taking over for an injured Deshaun Watson (Achilles). He scored at least 29.6 Fantasy points in two of three starts, and he attempted at least 41 passes in each contest against Baltimore, the Chargers and New Orleans. In deeper leagues, Winston is worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Fires up nearly 400 yards in loss

Winston completed 30 of 46 passes for 395 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 35-14 loss to the Saints. He added eight rushing yards on his only carry. The veteran quarterback put together his best performance since taking over the Browns' starting job, but it went for naught as the Cleveland run defense couldn't figure out how to stop Taysom Hill. Winston found Jerry Jeudy for an 89-yard catch-and-run score late in the first quarter before hitting Elijah Moore for a 30-yard TD in the third, and his 395 yards were his highest single-game total since the 2019 season, when he reached 400 yards on three separate occasions en route to the league passing yards crown. There was some question whether Winston would keep the starting gig after getting picked off three times by the Chargers in Week 9, but there should be no such discussion heading into a Week 12 clash with the Steelers.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Week 11 Waiver Priority List

Winston scored 29.6 Fantasy points in a favorable matchup in Week 8 against Baltimore and then struggled in a tough matchup in Week 9 against the Chargers with 12.1 Fantasy points prior to Cleveland's Week 10 bye. I expect him to do well in Week 11 at the Saints in a revenge game, and Winston is worth using as a low-end starter in all leagues. He should be added for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Remains starting quarterback

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed that Winston will remain the team's starting quarterback Sunday against the Saints, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports. Winston had a rough go of it in a loss to the Chargers in Week 9, which left the door open for a potential quarterback change. However, coming out of the Browns' bye week, Stefanski announced that Winston will make a third consecutive start in Week 11. Over his seven appearances (two starts) on the season, Winston has completed 59 of 99 pass attempts (59.6 percent) for 652 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions while adding 31 yards on 12 carries.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Week 9 Waiver Priority List

Winston took advantage of a great matchup in Week 8 against Baltimore and scored 29.6 Fantasy points. He has a tough matchup in Week 9 against the Chargers before a bye in Week 10, but I like his matchup against the Saints in Week 11, which is a revenge game. It doesn't get any easier after that, with Pittsburgh in Week 12, Denver in Week 13, Pittsburgh again in Week 14, and Kansas City in Week 15. That said, it's Winston, and he always has the potential for big games -- and mistakes -- no matter the opponent. He's worth adding in all leagues for 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Entrenched as starter

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Winston will continue to start at quarterback heading into a Week 9 matchup against the Chargers, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports. Stefanski praised Winston's ability to go through progressions in his first start of the 2024 campaign, an upset 29-24 win over the Ravens on Sunday. Winston completed 27 of 41 passes for 334 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions versus Baltimore, a stat line superior in terms of both yards and TDs to any of the seven starts that Deshaun Watson (Achilles) logged for the Browns prior to going down with a season-ending injury. Winston connected with Cedric Tillman on a pair of touchdowns Sunday, as well as one to tight end David Njoku, with all three of his scores coming on passes of 20-plus yards. Winston's aggressive tendencies and willingness to push the ball downfield will place him on the fantasy radar for the remainder of the season, though he faces a tough matchup against Los Angeles in Week 9.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Leads Browns to upset win

Winston completed 27 of 41 passes for 334 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions in Sunday's 29-24 win over the Ravens. Winston drew his first start with the Browns and outdueled Lamar Jackson in a back-and-forth contest. He was aided by volume but still managed 8.1 yards per attempt and five completions of at least 20 yards. Additionally, Winston showed rapport with all of his key skill-position players, highlighted by a pair of touchdown passes to Cedric Tillman of 22 and 38 yards as well as another to David Njoku for a 23-yard score. He was bailed out at the end of the game when an interception was dropped by Kyle Hamilton, but Winston's performance was strong overall and lifted the entire Cleveland offense.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Expected to start Sunday

The Browns plan to have Winston start at quarterback in Sunday's game against the Ravens, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports. Winston was inactive as the Browns' emergency No. 3 quarterback for last Sunday's loss to the Bengals, but he'll move into the starting role a week later with Deshaun Watson (Achilles) suffering a season-ending injury and with Dorian Thompson-Robinson (finger) uncertain to be available. After Watson was forced out late in the first half of the loss to the Bengals and after Thompson-Robinson exited late in the fourth quarter, Winston directed the Browns' final drive of the day, completing five of 11 pass attempts for 67 yards and a touchdown. He will now have a full week of reps with the first-team offense before he sees his first extended action with the Browns this Sunday.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Leads final drive

Winston completed his only pass attempt for 16 yards and played five snaps in Sunday's 34-13 loss to Washington in Week 5. Winston was given mop-up duty in the Browns' fourth loss in five games, taking the helm for the club's final possession. The offense was held under 20 points for a fifth time, and the struggles start at quarterback with Deshaun Watson. Calls for a change under center will grow louder this week as Cleveland prepares for a Week 6 tilt against Philadelphia, but head coach Kevin Stefanski was adamant about sticking with Watson following the game, per Zac Jackson of The Athletic.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Short-yardage specialist again

Winston had two carries for one yard in Sunday's 21-15 loss to the Giants in Week 3. For the second straight week, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski deployed Winston in short-yardage situations. He was successful on one of two quarterback sneaks Sunday.

  • Browns' Jameis Winston: Makes season debut

Winston had two carries for four yards in Sunday's 18-13 win over the Jaguars in Week 2. Winston, who made his season debut, entered the game on 4th-and-short situations, and the Browns converted all of them. He was used twice on quarterback sneaks and on a third he handed off to Jerome Ford, who scampered 36 yards.
