Patriots' Mack Hollins: Not ready to practice
Coach Mike Vrabel said that that the Patriots won't open Hollins' (abdomen) practice window Wednesday, Evan Lazar of the team's official site reports.
Hollins was placed on IR back on Dec. 27, but at this stage the wideout isn't ready to return to practice as the Patriots begin their preparation for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Broncos. For now, the team's available WRs are Stefon Diggs, Kayshon Boutte, Kyle Williams, DeMario Douglas and Efton Chism. In 15 regular-season games prior to suffering an abdomen injury, Hollins caught 46 of his 65 targets for 550 yards and two TDs.

Patriots' Mack Hollins: Lands on IR
The Patriots placed Hollins (abdomen) on injured reserve Saturday, Evan Lazar of the team's official site reports.
Hollins was already ruled out for Week 17 action, but the wideout's placement on IR now means that he won't play in the team's regular-season finale, and he wouldn't be eligible to return to action in the postseason unless the Patriots make a deep run. In Hollins' looming absence, rookie Kyle Williams figures to see added WR snaps going forward.

Patriots' Mack Hollins: Won't play Sunday
Hollins (abdomen) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jets.
Kayshon Boutte (concussion) also was ruled out. In the duo's looming absence, Stefon Diggs is in line to lead the Patriots' Week 17 WR corps, with DeMario Douglas (hamstring, questionable) -- if he's available -- and Kyle Williams in line to see added opportunities, while Efton Chism also is in the mix. Additionally, John Jiles, Brandon Smith and Jeremiah Webb are candidates to be elevated from New England's practice squad ahead of Sunday's contest.

Patriots' Mack Hollins: Still not practicing
Hollins (abdomen) wasn't spotted at practice Friday, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
The same applies to fellow WR Kayshon Boutte (concussion), with both players trending toward logging three straight 'DNPs' ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets. The Patriots' upcoming injury report is slated to reveal whether either player has a chance of playing this weekend, with Kyle Williams a candidate to log added Week 17 snaps if Hollins and/or Boutte are sidelined.

Patriots' Mack Hollins: Logs another 'DNP' listing
Hollins (abdomen) was listed as not practicing on the Patriots' Thursday estimate.
Following back-to-back 'DNP' listings, what the wideout is able to do Friday will be pivotal with regard to his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Jets. The same goes for fellow WR Kayshon Boutte (concussion), who also has logged consecutive 'DNP' listings. If one or both players are out this weekend, Kyle Williams would likely see added snaps versus New York.

Patriots' Mack Hollins: Estimated as DNP
Hollins (abdomen) was estimated as a non-participant at practice Thursday.
Hollins didn't practice Wednesday due to an abdomen issue, and had the team held an on-field session Thursday, he would've remained sidelined again. In order to have a chance at being cleared for Sunday's road matchup against the Jets, Hollins may need to resume practicing in at least a limited capacity Friday.

Patriots' Mack Hollins: Misses practice Wednesday
Hollins (abdomen) didn't practice Wednesday.
Hollins led the Patriots' WRs with a 66 percent snap share in the team's Week 16 win over the Ravens, a game in which he recorded seven catches on nine targets for 69 yards. With a DNP to kick off the current practice week, Hollins -- who has been targeted a total of 17 times over his last two outings -- now has two more opportunities to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets.

Patriots' Mack Hollins: Strong PPR outing Sunday
Hollins had seven receptions on nine targets for 69 yards in Sunday's 28-24 win over Baltimore.
Hollins turned in a fine PPR performance on Sunday Night Football while tying his previous season high of seven receptions. The enigmatic wideout has carved out a solid role with the Patriots of late, averaging 50.8 receiving yards per game over his last 10 appearances. Hollins has recorded zero touchdown receptions over that span, effectively limiting his utility to deep and PPR fantasy leagues. The 31-year-old should continue offering managers in those formats a high floor in Week 17, when the Patriots visit the Jets.

Patriots' Mack Hollins: Leading receiver in run-heavy loss
Hollins caught four of eight targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 35-31 loss to the Bills.
Hollins led the Patriots in targets, catches and receiving yards against his former team, but New England's passing game struggled. All four of the Patriots' touchdowns came on the ground, and Drake Maye threw for only 155 yards with an interception. Hollins has reached the 50-yard threshold only three times heading into a Week 16 trip to Baltimore, typically working as a depth piece in the Patriots' passing game.

Patriots' Mack Hollins: Three catches during MNF
Hollins caught three of four targets for 23 yards in Monday night's 33-15 win over the Giants.
Hollins was able to secure multiple passes for the eighth straight game, but he's now gone nine contests in a row without reaching the end zone. The wide receiver is one of the many mouths to feed in a New England offense that loves to spread the ball around, with eight different players reeling in at least one pass Week 13. Hollins now has caught 35 of 48 targets for 417 yards and two touchdowns over 13 games this year.

Patriots' Mack Hollins: Two catches versus Bengals
Hollins caught two of his six targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 26-20 win over the Bengals.
Hollins led New England's wide receivers in playing time Sunday, logging 61 of 71 snaps on offense per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com. However, tight ends Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper recorded 10 catches on the afternoon while none of the Patriots' WRs had more than two catches. Looking ahead to next Monday's game against the Giants, game flow could lead to more production from Hollins, but Drake Maye's tendency to spread the ball around makes the wideout a speculative fantasy lineup option in Week 13.
