Rams' Troy Reeder: Reunites with Los Angeles
The Rams re-signed Reeder (hamstring) to a one-year contract Thursday.
Reeder earned a starting role at inside linebacker to kick off the 2024 campaign, but a hamstring injury sustained Week 7 limited him to just six appearances (all starts) on the season. Now heading into his age-31 season, the decision to re-sign with Los Angeles provides Reeder another chance at earning a starting role on defense. Nate Landman, Omar Speights and Jaylen McCollough all represent competition at the linebacker position.

Rams' Troy Reeder: Ends 2024 on IR
Reeder (hamstring) played in six regular-season games in 2024 and finished with 46 tackles (26 solo) and one pass defense.
Coming off a 23-tackle campaign in 2023 in which he primarily served on special teams, Reeder opted to stay in Los Angeles on a one-year, $1.13 million contract in April of 2024. He ended up earning the starting inside-linebacker job alongside Christian Rozeboom after a strong showing in training camp. Reeder logged at least seven combined tackles in five of six games before suffering a hamstring injury that was severe enough for him to be placed on injured reserve in late October. He attempted to make a comeback for the NFC divisional-round win over the Eagles, but he was unable to progress enough in his recovery to be activated from IR. Reeder is an unrestricted free agent, and his strong play in the early portion of the 2024 regular season should draw plenty of interest from teams looking for an upgrade to its linebacker corps.

Rams' Troy Reeder: Ruled out for Sunday's game
Reeder practiced in full Friday but has been ruled out for Sunday's road divisional round matchup against the Eagles, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Reeder was designated to return to practice from injured reserve Thursday, but he won't make his return to the field in time for the NFC divisional round. If the Rams advance over Philadelphia, Reeder will work to gain full clearance in time for Los Angeles' next playoff clash.

Rams' Troy Reeder: Designated to return from IR
The Rams designated Reeder (hamstring) to return from injured reserve Thursday.
Reeder has been on injured reserve since Oct. 24 due to a hamstring injury that he suffered in Week 7 against the Raiders. Per Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio, Reeder was a full participant in Thursday's practice, but he would have to be activated from IR in order to play in Sunday's NFC divisional-round clash against Philadelphia. In the six regular-season games prior to the start of his IR stint, Reeder tallied 46 tackles (26 solo) and one pass defense.
