Davis signed a one-year, $3 million contract with the Vikings on Monday.
Davis was released by the Dolphins on Thursday, though it didn't take him long to find a new home. He started 72 games across the last five seasons and has proven to be a versatile player along the offensive line, though he is expected to be the leading candidate to start at right tackle for Minnesota in 2022.

Jesse Davis: Time up in Miami
The Dolphins released Davis on Thursday.
Davis' release frees up roughly $3.6 million in cap space for the Dolphins, per Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. After a busy offseason which included signing both Terron Armstead (knee) and Connor Williams, it's no surprise to see the team making moves to free up room against the salary cap. Allen Hurns (wrist) has also been released with a failed physical designation.

Dolphins' Jesse Davis: Set to feature Sunday
Davis won't carry an injury designation and is available for Sunday's game against the Raiders, according to Armando Salguero of Outkick.
Davis was a limited participant in practice Wednesday and Thursday, but he logged a full session Friday, so he shouldn't have a problem playing at his full capacity against Las Vegas. Davis picked up a knee injury last Sunday against the Bills, but he has managed to recover in time.
