The Titans spent most of Sunday's season opener playing catch-up, so they didn't give Pollard many carries, but he averaged an efficient 5.0 yards per carry on his limited opportunities. Tyjae Spears turned three carries and four targets into 24 yards, as Tennessee's backfield pecking order remains unchanged from 2025, with Pollard getting most of the opportunities on the ground. Another negative game script could limit Pollard's volume again in Week 2 against the Eagles, though the Titans will try to get off to a stronger start to avoid that scenario.

Pollard missed Monday's practice after taking four carries for 22 yards and a TD in last Thursday's preseason opener against San Francisco. A quick return to the practice field suggests he'll be fine for Week 1, regardless of participation (or lack thereof) in the upcoming exhibition against Seattle on Sunday. Pollard was in for nine of Cam Ward's 22 snaps last week, with Tyjae Spears playing the other 13 snaps and taking five touches for 39 yards.

Pollard found paydirt at the Titans' joint practice with the 49ers on Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official website reports.
Pollard was able to reel in a touchdown through the air from Cam Ward during the team's red-zone period against San Francisco. The running back is set to face some added competition in the backfield this season after Tennessee selected Nicholas Singleton in the fifth round of this year's draft, while Tyjae Spears (undisclosed) is looking to put together his first healthy campaign since his rookie year in 2023. Pollard has been a bit of an iron man in his NFL career, missing just a handful of regular-season contests over the last five years, but the 29-year-old has seen his receiving production drop in each of the last three campaigns, and he could find himself on the sidelines more often in passing situations this season.

Despite the game going down as yet another in the loss column for the Titans, Pollard continued his productive stretch run with his fourth consecutive outing with greater than 80 rushing yards. Pollard had actually cleared the century mark in the three prior games in that sample, so even though Sunday's production qualified as a downturn, it was enough to vault the veteran back over the 1,000-yard mark for the fourth consecutive campaign. Pollard will need a very reachable 46 rushing yards in the Week 18 road matchup against the Jaguars to eclipse his current career high of 1,079 yards, which he established in his debut season in Tennessee in 2024.

Pollard went off in Week 14 at Cleveland with 25 carries for 161 yards and two touchdowns. He had no targets, but it didn't matter since Pollard had a season-high 28.1 PPR points. But I expect Pollard to come crashing down in Week 15 at San Francisco, and he is only worth using as a flex option in the majority of leagues. Keep in mind that prior to facing the Browns, Pollard had scored 8.1 PPR points or less in five games in a row, and that was the first time he scored a touchdown since Week 5. Pollard will continue to share touches with Tyjae Spears, and the 49ers have only allowed three rushing touchdowns to running backs in their past seven games. Pollard's performance in Week 14 should be considered more of a fluke than something you can count on in the Fantasy playoffs.

Pollard churned out a new single-game career-best rushing yardage total in the Titans' second win of the season, with a 65-yard touchdown run late in the first quarter serving as the highlight of his stellar afternoon. The veteran back went on to add a 32-yard scoring scamper late in the third quarter to finish with his first multi-TD tally of the season. Ideally, you should sit both against the Texans, who are No. 10 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. Pollard faced Houston in Week 4 when Spears was still out with an ankle injury and had 14 carries for 64 yards and three catches for 12 yards on three targets. He scored 10.6 PPR points in that matchup, and we would love it for Pollard to reach even that level of production. At best, he's a flex option in the majority of leagues in Week 11.

Pollard rushed the ball 18 times for 60 yards in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Broncos. He added one reception on one target for 29 yards.
Pollard predictably dominated work out of the Tennessee backfield, accounting for 18 of the team's 21 rushing attempts. He was unable to find much room to run, as he managed a long gain of only nine yards on the ground while averaging just 3.3 yards per attempt with a lost fumble. Pollard's biggest impact of the game came on a 29-yard catch on Tennessee's first possession that ultimately set up a field goal. While his stat line wasn't particularly impressive, Pollard should have a very safe workload heading into a Week 2 matchup against the Rams.
