Packers' Javon Bullard: Spotted in boot, with crutches
Bullard (ankle) left the locker room with his right foot in a boot and on crutches following Thursday's 34-31 loss to the Lions, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Bullard left Thursday's game in the second half, further depleting the Green Bay secondary. Positively, he'll have 10 days to recover before the Packers square off with the Seahawks in Week 15, though the initial observations following the injury don't appear positive.

Packers' Javon Bullard: Suffers ankle injury
Bullard is questionable to return to Thursday's game against the Lions due to an ankle injury.
The Packers are very shorthanded in the secondary, as both Jaire Alexander (knee) and Corey Ballentine (knee) were inactive for the contest. Evan Williams (concussion) was lost earlier in the game, and Bullard was carted to the locker room for evaluation. The exact nature or seriousness of Bullard's issue is still unclear.

Packers' Javon Bullard: Seeing plenty of first-team reps
Bullard has opened recent practices at training camp with the first-team defense, Peter Bukowski of The Leap reports.
Coach Matt LaFleur said recently that the Packers would deploy a rotation at safety next to locked-in starter Xavier McKinney, but that hasn't prevented Bullard from retaining a strong grip on first-team reps. LaFleur's comments about a safety rotation could have less to do with Bullard's ability to contribute as an immediate starter and more to do with his versatility to switch between safety and man-coverage, or even his potential to take reps in the slot. To kick off training camp, Bullard was considered in the "pole position" to earn a starting safety role alongside McKinney, per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, and his recent performance at practice seems to further support that notion.
