Commanders' Brian Robinson: Avoids injury designation
Robinson (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Titans, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
Robinson may even have a larger-than-usual role despite hurting his ankle last week, seeing as Austin Ekeler suffered a concussion later in the game and now has been ruled out for Week 13. Robinson upgraded to full practice participation Friday after being limited the previous two days.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Stays limited Thursday
Robinson (ankle) was listed as limited on Thursday's injury report.
It's unclear if the Commanders practiced Thursday, but Robinson would have maintained his activity from one day prior if they did. He's in a better position to be available Sunday against the Titans than fellow RB Austin Ekeler, who has yet to log any on-field work since coming out of this past Sunday's loss to the Cowboys with a concussion. Friday's practice report will unveil whether or not Robinson heads into the weekend with a designation.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Officially limited Wednesday
Robinson (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday.
During this past Sunday's loss to the Cowboys, Robinson attempted to play through an ankle injury that he suffered in the first quarter, but he eventually wasn't able to return after getting a questionable tag for a second time after halftime. Fellow running back Austin Ekeler suffered a concussion on a kick return late in the contest and was held out of practice Wednesday. Considering the players seem to be trending in different directions ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans, Robinson clearly is the better bet to be available Week 13. If Robinson ends up inhibited or even inactive this weekend, Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez will be the options out of the Commanders backfield.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Practicing Wednesday
Robinson (ankle) took part in Wednesday's practice, JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports.
The Commanders lost their top two running backs to injury this past Sunday against the Cowboys. First, Robinson was deemed questionable to return on two occasions due to an ankle injury and was contained to 12 snaps and six touches. And in the final minutes, Austin Ekeler took a big hit on a kickoff return and was diagnosed with a concussion. Ekeler isn't practicing Wednesday as he makes his way through the five-step concussion protocol, but Robinson's ability to handle at least some drills bodes well for his status for this Sunday's game versus the Titans. Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez are the healthy backs on Washington's active roster.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Wait-and-see mode with ankle
Coach Dan Quinn said Monday that Robinson (ankle) will be a "wait-and-see scenario" ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.
Robinson initially injured his ankle early in this past Sunday's loss to the Cowboys. He was cleared to return by the medical staff, but Robinson aggravated the ankle in the second half and wasn't able to get back in the game. Robinson ended up playing just 12 offensive snaps all day. He's battled a multitude of injuries since the calendar flipped to October. With Austin Ekeler (concussion) also banged up, the Commanders again may have to turn to Jeremy McNichols in Week 13.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Exits again Sunday
Robinson exited Sunday's game against the Cowboys a second time due to an ankle injury.
Robinson went to the locker room after his first carry of the game due to an ankle issue but was able to get back on the field. Shortly after halftime, though, the Commanders again deemed him questionable to return. If he's unable to do so, Robinson will finish Week 12 with five carries for 13 yards and one catch (on two targets) for 11 yards. Austin Ekeler and Jeremy McNichols will man Washington's backfield for as long as Robinson is sidelined.
