Scott Nelson: Cut Sunday
The Lions waived Nelson on Sunday.
Nelson joined the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin in 2022, and he spent time on the practice squad with both Seattle and Pittsburgh as a rookie. The 24-year-old then signed with Detroit after he was let go by the Steelers in June, but he'll now likely have to look elsewhere to make his NFL debut.

Lions' Scott Nelson: Signs with Detroit
Nelson signed with the Lions on Sunday.
Nelson will head over to Detroit after spending time last season on Pittsburgh's practice squad. The 24-year-old will face an uphill battle to make the team but could be a potential practice squad candidate.
