Watson (knee/hamstring) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at the Giants, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
The addition of a hamstring injury on Green Bay's Week 11 injury report initially seemed concerning in light of Watson's repeated issues with his hamstrings in 2022 and 2023. It now seems less concerning, with Watson cleared to play after clarifying that his practice reps had been limited for the usual reason (maintenance after last year's ACL tear). He played a season-high 82 percent of snaps in last week's 10-7 loss to the Eagles, but that was with Matthew Golden (questionable - shoulder) inactive and Romeo Doubs (chest) getting banged up. Doubs and Dontayion Wicks (calf) join Watson in avoiding Week 11 injury designations, giving Jordan Love at least three of his top four WRs.

Packers' Christian Watson: Pops up as limited participant
Rotowire
Watson (knee/hamstring) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Watson wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, but per Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, he indicated that downgrading to limited reps Thursday is mostly the result of maintenance due to the right ACL tear that forced him to begin the season on IR. Watson clarified that he doesn't have any significant concerns about his availability for Sunday's matchup against the Giants, so as long as he practices in at least a limited fashion again Friday, fantasy managers can be confident in he'll suit up. Matthew Golden (shoulder), Dontayvion Wicks (calf) and Savion Williams (foot) all were also limited Thursday.

Packers' Christian Watson: Week 11 Adds (WR Preview)
Rotowire
A lot of wide receivers have better projections than Watson this week, including teammate Dontayvion Wicks, but few have more upside. The Packers' receiving corps is depleted, the Giants present a great matchup, and Watson has ramped up to full participation. Unfortunately, as Monday night showed, there is almost no floor with Watson.

Packers' Christian Watson: Week 11 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
Watson and Dontayvion Wicks (3 percent rostered) are both worth a look heading into Week 11 at the Giants after Romeo Doubs (chest) left Week 10 against Philadelphia. Matthew Golden (shoulder) was also inactive, so Watson and Wicks could be the primary receivers for Jordan Love against New York. Watson had two catches for 45 yards on four targets against the Eagles, and he has the most upside of this duo. In three games in his comeback from last year's ACL tear, Watson has yet to eclipse four targets or four receptions, and he still hasn't scored a touchdown. But he's averaging 23.5 yards per catch, and he could have success against the Giants' secondary. He should be added for at least 5 percent of your remaining FAB. Wicks missed the past two games prior to Week 10 with a calf injury and has been in a minimal role all season. But against the Eagles, he had a season-high eight targets and finished with four catches for 38 yards. We'll see what happens if Doubs and Golden are healthy, but Wicks is worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

Packers' Christian Watson: Big gains on both catches
Rotowire
Watson secured two of four targets for 45 yards in the Packers' 10-7 loss to the Eagles on Monday night.
Watson recorded gains of 20 and 25 yards on his pair of grabs, the latter getting the Packers out of the shadow of their own goalposts just before the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter. His yardage total was a team-high figure, and he's now averaged over 20.0 yards per reception in all three games he's played this season. Romeo Doubs' early exit Monday due to a chest injury and Matthew Golden's (shoulder) inactive status both played a part in Watson continuing to operate as a primary downfield option, and that may persist in a Week 11 road matchup against the Giants if one or both of his teammates remain sidelined.

Packers' Christian Watson: Sleeper WRs
Rotowire
Watson made his 2025 debut in Week 8 at Pittsburgh and had four catches for 85 yards on four targets. Let's see if that's a sign of things to come, and he's worth using as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues. It's not an easy matchup since the Panthers are No. 3 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and I don't expect Jordan Love to attempt a high volume of passes. But Watson just needs one play to boost his Fantasy production, and he's worth the risk given the potential reward.

Packers' Christian Watson: Remains limited by knee
Rotowire
Watson (knee) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Watson was joined by fellow WRs Matthew Golden (shoulder) and Dontayvion Wicks (calf) as limited, while Savion Williams wasn't able to practice at all to begin Week 10 prep due to a foot injury. Watson's restrictions Thursday likely are related to maintenance of the right knee that suffered a torn ACL in Week 18 of last season, but in his two appearances during the 2025 campaign since being cleared to play, he's struck for six catches (on eight targets) for 143 yards and no touchdowns. Watson will have two more chances to practice fully this week before the Packers potentially tag him with a designation ahead of Monday's contest against the Eagles.

Packers' Christian Watson: Cleared to play again
Rotowire
Watson (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Carolina.
The Packers continue to limit Watson's practice workload even after he caught four passes for 85 yards in his 2025 debut last Sunday at Pittsburgh. He handled a 56 percent snap share and 62 percent route share in that contest, ranking third among Green Bay's WRs in both categories while outproducing both Romeo Doubs and Matthew Golden. The early returns look good on Watson getting back to full strength after a late-season ACL tear in 2024.

Packers' Christian Watson: Remains limited at practice
Rotowire
Watson (knee) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday.
Watson returned to action this past Sunday at Pittsburgh for the first time since he sustained a torn ACL in his right knee Week 18 of last season, logging 56 percent of the snaps while running a route on 62 percent of them en route to four catches (on four targets) for 85 yards. He may endure practice limitations until the Packers deem him 100 percent, but he at least is healthy enough to be available on game days. Ultimately, though, Friday's injury report will reveal whether or not Watson has a designation ahead of Sunday's contest against the Panthers.

Packers' Christian Watson: Stashes (WR Preview)
Rotowire
Watson only played 56% of the snaps in his 2025 debut, so it is hard to immediately move him into your lineup. But he looked fantastic when he was out there, catching all four of his targets for 85 yards. If Watson ramps up to a snap share north of 70% he could be the Packers' best wide receiver rest of the season. Of course, the way this room has worked all year, it may be too big of a mess to consistently count on one guy.

Packers' Christian Watson: Week 9 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
Watson made his 2025 debut in Week 8 at Pittsburgh in his return to action from last year's torn ACL, and he played well with four catches for 85 yards on four targets. We'll see how he does moving forward while competing with Tucker Kraft, Romeo Doubs and Matthew Golden for targets, especially when Jayden Reed (foot) is healthy. But for now, it's easy to speculate on Watson as a potential No. 3 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues heading into Week 9 against Carolina for 5-10 percent of your remaining FAB.

Packers' Christian Watson: Solid effort in return to action
Rotowire
Watson (knee) secured all four of his targets for 85 yards in Sunday's 35-25 win over the Steelers.
Watson made a successful return from a torn ACL suffered in the final game of the 2024 regular season, finishing second behind TE Tucker Kraft (7-143-2) in receiving for the Packers on Sunday Night Football. The 25-year-old Watson exhibited his usual big-play ability in his first taste of action this season, showing no ill effects from the severe knee injury he suffered in January. Watson immediately reinserted himself as one of QB Jordan Love's top targets, making him an appealing fantasy option against the Panthers next Sunday.

Packers' Christian Watson: Questionable to make 2025 debut
Rotowire
Watson (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game at Pittsburgh, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Watson still hasn't logged a full practice, remaining limited Wednesday through Friday this week. The Packers will need to activate him from the reserve/PUP list Saturday in order to have Watson available Sunday night. Should that happen, Watson likely will start off in a part-time role, even if fellow speedster Matthew Golden (questionable - hip) is limited or absent.

Packers' Christian Watson: Stays limited in practice
Rotowire
Watson (knee) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
In his third week of on-field work since the Packers designated him for return from the reserve/PUP list, Watson has yet to log more than a limited session as he completes his recovery from the torn ACL that he sustained in his right knee Week 18 of last season. He told Schneidman on Wednesday, "My goal and my plan is to play this week." Assuming the Packers list Watson as anything other than 'Out' on Friday's injury report, the team then will need to activate him from the PUP list on Saturday afternoon for him to have a chance to suit up Sunday at Pittsburgh.

Packers' Christian Watson: Another limited practice
Rotowire
Watson (knee) was a limited practice participant Thursday.
Watson has been limited in practice the past two weeks, but the ever elusive full session has yet to occur as he puts the finishing touches on his recovery from the torn ACL that he suffered in his right knee Week 18 of last season. Coach Matt LaFleur said, "We'll see," when asked if Watson is set to return Sunday at Arizona, per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. If Watson isn't ruled out on Friday's injury report, the Packers will have until Saturday afternoon to activate him from the reserve/PUP list, which would give him a chance to play this weekend.

Packers' Christian Watson: Won't play this week
Rotowire
Watson (knee) won't play this Sunday against Cincinnati, even though Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Friday that the wideout has looked good at practice this week, Paul Bretl of the Wisconsin State Journal reports.
Coming back from an ACL tear suffered in Week 18 last season, Watson returned to practice Monday and then was listed as a limited participant Wednesday and Thursday. It sounds like he could play as soon as Week 7 or 8, but it won't happen this Sunday in a game where the Packers are favored by nearly two touchdowns.

Packers' Christian Watson: Expects to practice after Week 4
Rotowire
Watson (ACL) said Monday he expects to return to practice upon his window to do so opening after Week 4, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Watson is recovering from a right ACL tear and has opened the 2025 campaign on the reserve/PUP list, so the earliest time his 21-day practice window can open will be Week 5. The Packers are on bye that week, making Week 6 against the Bengals the earliest likely possibility for Watson's regular-season debut. Green Bay signed Watson to a one-year, $13.25 million contract extension less than one week ago, signaling confidence in the 2022 second-round pick's recovery and ability to contribute on offense. With Jayden Reed (collarbone) expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks, Watson could immediately step into a significant role once he's healthy.

Packers' Christian Watson: Could return around Week 5
Rotowire
Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Tuesday that Watson (knee) likely will begin the regular season on the PUP list but will be "chomping at the bit" to return, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
The Packers hope to have Watson back in October after he's spent the minimum of four games on the PUP list. That's about as soon as anyone could've hoped for, given that Watson suffered an ACL tear in Week 18 last season. It won't be surprising if he ends up missing more than four weeks, but it does seem his rehab is coming along quickly. Whether he's a full-time player at any point this season is another question, as the Packers also have Matthew Golden, Jayden Reed (foot), Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks (calf) as strong candidates for WR snaps and targets.

Packers' Christian Watson: Looking good in recovery
Rotowire
Watson, who is expected to begin the season on the reserve/PUP list, hasn't looked like a player recovering from a torn ACL during training camp, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.
Watson suffered an ACL tear in his right knee in Week 18 of last season, but he appears to have made significant strides in his recovery. Despite that positive impression, the wideout opened training camp on the active/PUP list and seems destined to move to reserve/PUP on cut-down day Aug. 26. The Packers' medical staff tends to be overly cautious with rehabs from serious injuries, so even if it seems as though Watson could suit up during the first four weeks of the season, he'll likely continue to build up strength in his right leg instead given his history of hamstring issues.
