Rams' Jordan Whittington: Gets light usage as returner
Whittington returned one kick for 24 yards and failed to record a target during Sunday's 28-22 win against the Patriots.
Whittington's role since the return of Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp has been non-existent, and he hasn't managed a catch since Week 5. The sixth-round rookie's role seems to be focused on special teams at the moment (16 snaps on special teams versus five snaps on offense Sunday), and he'll continue to compete with Tutu Atwell, Tyler Johnson and Xavier Smith for a meager amount of snaps as the backups to Nacua, Kupp and Demarcus Robinson.

Rams' Jordan Whittington: Gets back to full practice Thursday
Whittington (shoulder) practiced fully Thursday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Despite missing a second game in a row this past Sunday at Seattle due to a shoulder injury, Whittington was able to string together three consecutive limited practices last week. This time around, he doesn't have any restrictions, indicating that he's past the health concern. With Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua back in action, Whittington will find snaps and targets difficult to come by, but if Demarcus Robinson (toe/hip), who didn't practice Thursday, is inhibited or out Monday against the Dolphins, Whittington would be a candidate to step in behind the top WR duo.

Rams' Jordan Whittington: Sitting out again Sunday
Whittington (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game at Seattle, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Whittington thus is missing a second straight contest due to a shoulder injury, but he was able to practice in a limited capacity in all three Week 9 practices, indicating he's drawing closer to a return to action. With Whittington sidelined, Tutu Atwell, Demarcus Robinson, Tyler Johnson and Xavier Smith will be the tertiary wide receivers behind the top duo of Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.

Whittington (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Whittington was a limited practice participant Wednesday through Friday, after playing limited snaps Week 7 and sitting out Week 8 entirely. The participation level is an upgrade from last week, leaving both Whittington and fellow Rams wideout Puka Nacua (knee) questionable for Sunday's game.
