Vikings' Jordan Addison: Pair of scores in return
Addison brought in three of four targets for 72 yards and a touchdown and recorded a seven-yard score on his only rush attempt in the Vikings' 31-29 win over the Packers on Sunday.
Making his return from a two-game absence due to an ankle injury, Addison wasted no time making an impact with a 29-yard touchdown grab to cap off the opening possession of the contest. He then stung the Packers defense on the ground, notching a seven-yard touchdown early in the second quarter. The second-year wideout, who played only 24 snaps in the season-opening victory over the Giants before suffering his injury, appears to be all the way back to full health heading into a Week 5 interconference clash with the Jets in London next Sunday.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Cleared for Week 4 return
Addison (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Green Bay, Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Addison will be active for the first time since suffering an ankle sprain in the third quarter of a Week 1 win over the Giants. His return will either push Jalen Nailor out of the regular rotation or bump Nailor down to the No. 3 role, with the latter scenario entailing a demotion for Brandon Powell. Either way, Minnesota's offense figures to be highly concentrated toward Addison, Justin Jefferson and RB Aaron Jones.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Stays limited Thursday
Addison (ankle) was limited at Thursday's practice.
The Vikings held a walkthrough Wednesday, so Addison's listing of limited on the ensuing injury report was an estimate. With an appearance at an actual practice under his belt one day later, he now appears to be closing in on a return. In the end, Friday's report will unveil whether he goes into the weekend with a designation for Sunday's contest at Green Bay or cleared for his first game action since Week 1, when he initially sustained a right ankle sprain. For what it's worth, Addison told Dane Mizutani of the St. Paul Pioneer Press on Thursday that he expects to suit up Sunday.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Officially limited Wednesday
Addison (ankle) was listed as limited participant Wednesday on the Vikings' first Week 4 injury report.
Head coach Kevin O'Connell told Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com that Addison was a candidate to take part in Wednesday's walkthrough, which has come to pass. Addison is working his way back from a sprained right ankle that he suffered Week 1, and his return to the practice field is the first step as the team ramps up for Sunday's visit to Green Bay. Whether or not he enters the weekend with a designation for that contest will be revealed when Minnesota posts its final report of Week 4 on Friday.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: To participate in walkthrough
Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said he expects Addison (ankle) to be listed as at least a partial participant in Wednesday's walk-through practice, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
According to Seifert, O'Connell is hopeful that Addison will put an end to his two-game absence in this Sunday's game against the Packers. The second-year wideout is expected to be listed as a limited participant upon the release of Wednesday's injury report, which would represent an upgrade after he failed to practice in any capacity since suffering the injury in the Week 1 win over the Giants. If he ultimately is able to play Sunday, Addison would primarily eat into the role of Jalen Nailor, who scored in both contests that Addison was sidelined.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Optimism regarding Week 4 status
Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said Monday that he's "optimistic" Addison (ankle) will be available to play Sunday in Green Bay, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
While O'Connell's comments offer some encouragement, Addison's practice activity during the upcoming week will provide a clearer signal whether or not the receiver has a chance of suiting up against the Packers. Addison missed both of the Vikings' last two games after spraining his right ankle in the season-opening win over the Giants, and he has yet to take any practice reps since sustaining the injury.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Remains sidelined Friday
Addison (ankle) wasn't spotted at practice Friday, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
Addison has yet to take the practice field since injuring his ankle in Minnesota's regular-season opener, so he presumably will be ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans once the Vikings publish their injury report Friday, though it will be worth checking back for official word on the second-year wide receiver's status. Teammate Justin Jefferson (quadriceps) has been practicing this week, and Jalen Nailor would be in line to maintain an expanded role if Addison is indeed ruled out.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Out for Week 3
Addison (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Houston, Dane Mizutani of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Addison did some work on a side field this week, but he hasn't actually practiced since suffering an ankle sprain Week 1 against the Giants. His absence for a second straight game leaves Jalen Nailor and Brandon Powell as the top wide receivers alongside Justin Jefferson, who has avoided an injury designation after hurting his quadriceps last week. Coach Kevin O'Connell told Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune on Friday that Addison is "in a good place" and has a good chance to return Week 4 against Green Bay.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Official DNP on Thursday
Addison (ankle) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice.
Addison has yet to practice since hurting his right ankle Week 1, likely meaning he'll have to log at least a limited session Friday to give him a chance to return to action Sunday versus the Texans. Meanwhile, fellow wide receiver Justin Jefferson (quadriceps) was limited for a second day in a row, at least providing him more legitimate odds to be active Week 3. Friday's injury report should be telling for the statuses of both Addison and Jefferson heading into the weekend.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Missing out on another practice
Addison (ankle) didn't participate in the portion of Thursday's practice that was available to the media, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Addison was present for the session, though he was merely conducting rehab on a side field. With Addison set to be listed as a non-participant in practice for the second day in a row, he'll likely need to practice with his healthy teammates as at least a limited participant Friday to have a legitimate chance at playing Sunday against the Texans. While Addison was sidelined for the Vikings' Week 2 loss to the 49ers, Jalen Nailor (3-54-1 receiving line on four targets, 93 percent snap share) was the biggest beneficiary of an expanded role behind No. 1 wideout Justin Jefferson (quadricep).

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Misses practice
Addison (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday.
Head coach Kevin O'Connell said Monday that he was hoping to have Addison back for Week 3 against Houston after the wideout missed Sunday's win over the 49ers with an ankle sprain suffered Week 1. While the practice absence isn't ideal, O'Connell said Wednesday that Addison is "still in that day-to-day world" and getting treatment on his injured ankle, per Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Fellow Vikings wideout Justin Jefferson (quadricep) is listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's injury report.
