Ravens' Rasheen Ali: Returning to practice
The Ravens designated Ali (neck) for return to practice Thursday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Ali remains on injured reserve, but now that he's set to practice, the Ravens will have 21 days to evaluate him before adding him to the 53-man roster. Assuming he experiences no setbacks with his neck injury while practicing, Ali will eventually provide the team with backfield depth behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill.

Ravens' Arthur Maulet: Returns to practice Wednesday
Maulet (knee) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.
Maulet began the regular season on injured reserve due to a knee injury he sustained in early August during training camp. He's been sidelined for the four-game minimum, and he returned to practice Wednesday as a limited participant, per Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com. Maulet's return to the Ravens would boost their depth in the secondary, especially with corner Jalyn Armour-Davis (hamstring) being placed on injured reserve Saturday.

Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Not close to returning
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday that Mitchell (knee) is "right on schedule" but "isn't close enough yet to talk about," Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
In other words, the Ravens never expected Mitchell to contribute in the first half of the season, hoping instead to get him back later in the campaign. He suffered an ACL tear Week 15 last season and apparently will remain on the PUP list for at least a few more weeks. Harbaugh said that the team expects Mitchell to play at some point in 2024.

Ravens' Andrew Vorhees: Opens week as limited participant
Vorhees (ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Baltimore's top left guard upgraded to limited participation Wednesday after logging three consecutive DNPs last week. Vorhees' participation Thursday and Friday will likely provide a better indication of his potential return to the field in Week 5, as the Ravens travel to Cincinnati.

Ravens' Michael Pierce: Good to go for Week 5
Pierce (shoulder) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Pierce was inactive for the Ravens' Week 4 win against the Bills due to a shoulder injury. The extended rest appears to have done the 31-year-old nose tackle some good, and he should be ready to go for Sunday's game against the Bengals. Pierce has tallied seven tackles (three solo), including 0.5 sacks, and one pass defended across three regular-season games.
