Seahawks' Jalen Milroe: Seattle swoops in
The Seahawks selected Milroe in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 92nd overall.
This is one of the most intriguing picks of Day 2, if not the entire draft thus far. Milroe is an extremely polarizing prospect. His proponents point to his undeniable tools; Milroe is well-built with a cannon arm and 4.4 speed. His detractors point to erratic accuracy and an inability to put touch on short and intermediate passes. Milroe started for two years at Alabama, completing 65 percent of his passes at 9.4 YPA with 39 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. He also ran for 1,257 yards and 32 touchdowns in those seasons. His 'wow' plays are up there with any quarterback in the class. There are moments in which he looks unstoppable, either with the deep ball or as a runner. There are also several concerning starts on his resume, such as the 2024 Oklahoma game, which explain why he was available at this stage. With Sam Darnold under a lucrative contract, the Seahawks can be patient with Milroe's development and see if they can turn him into a future starter.

Seahawks' Elijah Arroyo: Scooped by Seattle
The Seahawks selected Arroyo (knee) in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 50th overall.
Left knee injuries derailed much of Arroyo's second and third seasons at Miami, but he managed to stay healthy as a senior and showed what he can do. As a big-bodied pass catcher for Cam Ward, Arroyo caught 35 of 45 targets for 590 yards and seven touchdowns. His 13.1 yards per target and 16.9 yards per reception are explosive figures for a tight-end prospect. He has the size (6-foot-5, 250 pounds) to be an every-down player as well. His health will be his biggest question mark, because Arroyo has impressive playmaking ability.

Seahawks' Nick Emmanwori: Seattle adds athletic safety
The Seahawks selected Emmanwori in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 35th overall.
Emmanwori (6-foot-3, 220 pounds) proved himself one of the most athletic defenders in recent memory with a 4.38-second 40-yard dash, 43-inch vertical jump and 138-inch broad jump while otherwise standing out at safety for South Carolina. Emmanwori was a highly productive three-year starter and could be an impact defender in the NFL, though the Seahawks already have two competent safeties in Julian Love and Coby Bryant.

Seahawks' Grey Zabel: Lands with Seahawks
The Seahawks selected Zabel in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 18th overall.
Zabel is the latest North Dakota State lineman to make it to the league, joining the likes of Dillon Radunz, Cordell Volson and Cody Mauch. At 6-foot-6 and 312 pounds with 32-inch arms, Zabel played all over the line for the Bison with double-digit starts at both tackle spots and seven combined starts at both guard spots. The arm detail likely means Zabel will kick inside to guard, which fits nicely with how the Seahawks are currently constructed.
