  • Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Cruises to win Friday

Mrazek stopped 31 of 33 shots in Friday's 6-2 win over the Predators.

Mrazek had lost his last three outings, but the Blackhawks erupted with plenty of goal support in this contest. It was also the first time since Jan. 8 that Mrazek was able to limit an opponent to two or fewer goals -- he had given up 25 tallies over his last six games. The 32-year-old netminder is now 10-18-2 with a 3.27 GAA and an .897 save percentage over 31 starts this season. It wouldn't be surprising to see Arvid Soderblom get the nod for Saturday's game in St. Louis.

Mrazek will patrol the home crease versus Nashville on Friday, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Mrazek is on a three-game losing streak, going 0-2-1 while allowing 12 goals on 119 shots (.899 save percentage). Mrazek is 9-18-2 with a 3.32 GAA and an .895 save percentage over 30 appearances this season. The Predators are generating 2.60 goals per game, 29th in the NHL.

  • Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Mauled by Panthers

Mrazek made 39 saves in Saturday's 5-1 loss to Florida.

Chicago was thoroughly outplayed on the afternoon, getting out-shot 44-25, and the final score might have been even uglier if it weren't for Mrazek's efforts. Even so, the outing continued a rough stretch for the veteran netminder -- Mrazek has gone just 1-4-1 over his last six starts with a 4.03 GAA and .889 save percentage, and he may be slipping into a timeshare with Arvid Soderblom as a result.

  • Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Gets starting nod for Saturday

Mrazek will guard the cage on the road against the Panthers on Saturday, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports.

Mrazek has lost all but one of his last five outings, posting a 1-3-1 record, 3.83 GAA and .890 save percentage. In addition, the veteran netminder was forced to watch from the bench for the Blackhawks' last two contests in favor of Arvid Soderblom. If Mrazek continues to struggle, he could find himself relegated to the No. 2 role more regularly.

  • Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Falls to Wild

Mrazek gave up three goals on 27 shots in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Wild. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Mrazek lost for the fourth time in his last six games, and he's allowed at least three goals in five of those outings. The 32-year-old didn't get any help over the first two periods Sunday, and the Blackhawks' comeback effort fell short in the third. Mrazek is now 9-17-2 with a 3.26 GAA and an .895 save percentage over 29 starts this season. The Blackhawks embark on a brutal three-game road trip over the next week, beginning with Tuesday's game against the Lightning followed by matchups with the Hurricanes on Thursday and the Panthers on Saturday.

Mrazek is coming off a 44-save effort in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to Carolina. He has a 9-16-2 record with a 3.26 GAA and an .896 save percentage through 28 appearances this season. Minnesota ranks 19th in the league with 2.90 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Makes 44 saves in overtime loss

Mrazek stopped 44 of 48 shots in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Hurricanes.

Mrazek had to settle with another loss, his third across his last four outings, but he shouldn't get much of the blame for the outcome of the contest based on his workload. The 44 saves were a season-high mark by a wide margin, and it's also worth noting Mrazek has recorded a save percentage of .910 or higher in three of his last five starts. The record doesn't back him up, as he's gone 2-2-1 with a 3.41 GAA in that span.

  • Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Tending twine against Carolina

Mrazek will start Monday's home game against the Hurricanes, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports.

Mrazek will be between the pipes for the fifth time over Chicago's last seven games. Across his last four starts, he's gone 2-2-0 with a 3.27 GAA and .903 save percentage. The Hurricanes will present a tough test Monday, as they're tied for sixth in the NHL with 3.30 goals per game.

  • Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Makes 32 saves Saturday

Mrazek stopped 32 of 35 shots in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.

Mrazek was coming off back-to-back losses, against Detroit and Calgary, in his previous two outings but bounced back here. The win was the only positive aspect of this performance, though, as the underlying numbers haven't been very good. Mrazek has allowed three or more goals in six of his last seven appearances, a span in which he's gone 2-5-0 with a 4.47 GAA and an .861 save percentage.

Mrazek is expected to start at home against Vegas on Saturday, per Mark Lazerus of The Athletic.

Mrazek has an 8-16-1 record, 3.24 GAA and .893 save percentage in 26 appearances in 2024-25. He's allowed nine goals on 63 shots (.857 save percentage) while losing his past two starts. Vegas is tied for fourth in goals per game with 3.38.

  • Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Doused by Flames

Mrazek made 31 saves in Monday's 5-2 loss to Calgary.

While Mrazek couldn't really be faulted for any of the pucks that got past him, it was still another rough night for the 32-year-old netminder. Since returning from a groin strain in late December, he's given up at least four goals in five of six outings, stumbling to a 1-5-0 record with a 4.75 GAA and an .850 save percentage over that stretch. Arvid Soderblom hasn't been much better during that span, but Mrazek's hold on the top job in the Chicago crease appears increasingly tenuous.

Mrazek allowed four goals on 27 shots in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Red Wings. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.

Mrazek quieted the Avalanche on Wednesday, but he couldn't construct a repeat performance against an ascendant Red Wings team. He's now allowed at least four goals in five of his last seven appearances, losing all five of those instances. Mrazek is down to 8-15-1 with a 3.17 GAA and an .895 save percentage through 25 games. Arvid Soderblom is likely to get the starting nod Saturday at home against the Oilers.

  • Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Between pipes Friday

Mrazek will defend the visiting goal in Detroit on Friday, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Mrazek was stellar Wednesday, stopping 35 shots in a 3-1 win over Colorado, halting a personal six-game losing streak. Mrazek is 8-14-1 for the lowly Blackhawks, with a 3.13 GAA and a .897 save percentage across 24 appearances this season. The Red Wings are averaging 2.73 goals in 2024-25.

  • Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Finally back in win column

Mrazek made 35 saves in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Avalanche.

Juuso Parssinen opened the scoring for Colorado early in the first period with an end-to-end rush that he finished by slipping a backhander past Mrazek inside the near post, but the veteran goalie slammed the door shut the rest of the way. It was Mrazek's first win since Nov. 27, ending a skid that had seen him go 0-6-0 over his prior seven appearances with a brutal 4.97 GAA and .834 save percentage while also missing time due to a groin strain. While victories will be hard to come by with Chicago, a healthy Mrazek is at least capable of posting better ratios.

  • Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Set to face Colorado

Mrazek is expected to start in Wednesday's home tilt against Colorado, per Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio.

Mrazek is 0-6-0 with a 4.97 GAA and an .834 save percentage across his past seven appearances. He hasn't featured in the win column since Nov. 27. It will be difficult for Mrazek to end that slump against the Avalanche, who rank fifth in goals per game with 3.39.

  • Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: No wins since November

Mrazek made 22 saves in a 6-2 loss to the Blues in Tuesday's Winter Classic outdoor game.

Mrazek missed a couple weeks to injury prior to the holiday break, but a return to good health hasn't changed his fate. He hasn't won since Nov. 27 (0-6-0 in seven starts), and he's allowed 27 goals in that span. Mrazek has been excellent at times this season, but he needs to be that every game to help his mates win.

  • Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Drawing start in Winter Classic

Mrazek will be between the pipes Tuesday at home in the Winter Classic against the Blues, according to Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio.

Mrazek will make his 23rd start of the campaign in the Winter Classic at Wrigley Field. The 32-year-old is sporting an 0-4-0 record, .830 save percentage and 5.21 GAA through five appearances in December, and he hasn't registered a win since Nov. 27. Mrazek will have a chance to get on the right track against a St. Louis team that has put up 2.61 goals per game through 38 contests, which ranks 28th in the NHL.

  • Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Pulled Friday in rout

Mrazek was pulled from Friday's 6-2 loss to the Sabres at the end of the first period after stopping seven of 11 shots.

Mrazek allowed four goals in the first period before Arvid Soderblom, who finished with 22 saves, replaced him to start the second. This one looked like a promising matchup for Mrazek and the Blackhawks, but the team looked overmatched on both ends of the ice. Mrazek's struggles continue, as he's gone winless in his last six appearances, going 0-5-0 with an inflated 4.74 GAA and a woeful .844 save percentage in that stretch.
