Granlund scored two goals in Finland's 5-3 loss to Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off on Monday.
Granlund keyed a frantic 6-on-5 comeback in the last two minutes of game, scoring both goals in a 23-second span. He earned the game's third star for his effort. Granlund will carry this success back to his new home in Dallas where he had already put up four assists over four games after his arrival from San Jose.

Stars' Mikael Granlund: Scores OT winner at 4 Nations
Granlund scored the game-winner in Saturday's 4-3 overtime victory over Team Sweden at the 4 Nations Face-Off in Montreal.
Granlund, Aleksander Barkov and Niko Mikkola broke in on a 3-on-1, and Granlund got selfish at the right time, going five-hole on Linus Ullmark after looking pass all the way. The victory moved Finland into a tie with Canada for second in the tournament ahead of Canada's contest versus the United States on Saturday. Granlund was named the Player of the Game for his effort.

Granlund notched two assists in Saturday's 8-3 win over the Sharks.
Playing against his former team for the first time since he was traded to Dallas on Feb. 1, Granlund made a noticeable impact on the second line. Granlund helped out on first-period tallies by Matt Duchene and Mason Marchment. With four helpers over his last four outings, Granlund is fitting right in with the Stars. He's now at 49 points, 131 shots on net and a minus-4 rating across 56 games this season.

Granlund notched an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Kings.
Granlund has two helpers over three outings since he was traded to the Stars from the Sharks. The 32-year-old set up a Matt Duchene tally in the third period. Those two forwards look to be building some chemistry on the second line -- they played together back in Nashville as recently as the 2022-23 campaign. For the season, Granlund has earned 47 points, 130 shots on net, 42 hits, 39 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating across 55 appearances.

Granlund logged an assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
Granlund was traded from the Sharks on Saturday, and it didn't take him long to get on the scoresheet for his new team. He set up Logan Stankoven's second-period tally. The 32-year-old Granlund saw massive minutes in San Jose this season, so his ice time is virtually guaranteed to be much lower in Dallas given the depth and balance of the team's forward group. Granlund centered Jamie Benn and Evgenii Dadonov on the third line Sunday but had 16:40 of ice time, third-most among Stars forwards. Granlund is at 46 points, 128 shots on net, 39 hits, 37 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating over 53 appearances this season. His versatility will allow him to maintain some interest in fantasy, and if the Stars shuffle their lineup, he stands to have a chance at top-six minutes either at center or on the wing.

Dallas acquired Granlund and Cody Ceci from San Jose on Saturday in exchange for a 2025 first-round pick and a conditional 2025 third-round selection.
