  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Dealt another loss

Saros stopped 23 of 25 shots in Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Flyers. The third goal was an empty-netter. Saros has now dropped four of his last five games, going 1-2-2 with 16 goals allowed in that span. This was one of his better performances, but the Predators couldn't get anything past Dan Vladar after a Ryan O'Reilly deflection goal early in the first period. Saros slipped to 5-5-3 with a 2.88 GAA and a .902 save percentage over 13 appearances. The Predators have a home matinee game versus the Stars on Saturday, which could be another challenge for Saros should he get the start. He didn't play in an Oct. 26 home loss to the Stars.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Tending twine at home

Saros will guard the home goal versus the Flyers on Thursday. Saros is 1-2-1 over his last four starts, allowing 14 goals in that span. One of the regulation losses during that stretch was against the Flyers, when Saros allowed three goals on 17 shots last Thursday. The Flyers have scored just seven goals over three games since that contest, so they don't have a ton of momentum coming into this game.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Falls to Canucks in OT

Saros made 31 saves in Monday's 5-4 overtime loss to Vancouver. The Canucks' first two goals came on power plays, and there wasn't much Saros could do on the OT winner either -- Brock Boeser found himself alone in front of the Nashville crease and flipped a backhander past the veteran netminder with just two seconds left. Saros has just one win in his last four starts, going 1-2-1 while giving up 14 goals on 119 shots. On the season, he's 5-4-3 in 12 outings with a 2.95 GAA and a .900 save percentage.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Draws start against Vancouver

Saros will patrol the home crease Monday versus the Canucks, according to Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site. Saros snapped a two-game losing streak in Saturday's 4-2 win over Calgary, turning aside 33 of 35 shots. The Canucks are 2-3-0 in their last five contests, a span in which they have netted 12 goals. Saros has been solid against Vancouver in his career, posting an 8-3-1 record, 2.58 GAA and .908 save percentage across 15 regular-season outings.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Carrying heavy workload so far

Saros made 33 saves in a 4-2 win over the Flames on Saturday. Saros has started 11 of Nashville's first 13 games, and he's 5-4-2 with a 2.79 GAA and a .905 save percentage in that span. This heavy workload may catch up to Saros at some point, but the team's confidence in Justus Annunen could increase before that happens.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Tending twine Saturday

Saros will be between the pipes for Saturday's home matchup against Calgary, per Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site. Saros has lost his last two outings, giving up seven goals on 48 shots. He has a 4-4-2 record this season with a 2.86 GAA and a .900 save percentage through 10 appearances. Calgary ranks 32nd in the league with only 2.17 goals per game this campaign.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Minimal support yet again

Saros made 14 saves in a 4-1 win over the Flyers on Thursday. Saros has been strong for a struggling team. He put up back-to-back wins prior to Thursday's loss, and he is 4-3-2 in nine starts with a 2.84 GAA and a .905 save percentage. Saros is doing everything in his power to give his team a chance. However, the Preds have struggled to score -- they have scored more than two goals in a game just once in their last eight contests. At some point, this situation will change. Until then, Saros is a tough option in leagues that prioritize wins, but his solid counting stats may offset that, depending on the format.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Starting in Philadelphia

Saros will guard the road goal versus the Flyers on Thursday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports. Saros has allowed at least four goals in four of his last five appearances, going 2-3-0 in that span. The Flyers have won four of their last five games, but three of those victories have come past regulation time, so expect this one to be a close contest.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Defending crease Tuesday

Saros will patrol the home crease against Tampa Bay on Tuesday, per Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site. Saros has won his last two outings, stopping 57 of 62 shots. • Predators' Juuse Saros: Set to start Saturday

Saros is expected to start at home against the Kings on Saturday, per Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site. Saros has a 3-2-2 record, 2.53 GAA and .911 save percentage in seven appearances with the Predators in 2025-26. He turned aside 21 of 22 shots en route to a 2-1 win over Vancouver in his last start Thursday. The Kings are 3-3-2 and tied for 25th in goals per game with 2.63.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Dominant against Vancouver

Saros stopped 21 of 22 shots in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Canucks. Saros bounced back from three straight losses (0-2-1, 3.91 GAA) by allowing no more than one goal for the third time in his first seven starts of the season. Unsurprisingly, Saros is 3-0-0 in those games. The 30-year-old has been a bit inconsistent on a game-to-game basis, but for the most part, he's posted good numbers and should remain as the undisputed No. 1 option between the pipes for Nashville. Through seven starts, Saros has gone 3-2-2 with a 2.53 GAA and a .911 save percentage.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Receiving start against Canucks

Saros will guard the home goal versus the Canucks on Thursday. Saros started the season fairly well, but he's allowed nine goals on 57 shots over his last two outings. The Canucks have won three of their last four games, collecting 12 goals in that span. That could make this a bit of a tough test for Saros as he tries to get back on track.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Another poor outing

Saros stopped 28 of 33 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Ducks. Saros' strong start to the season is quickly fading, as he's allowed 12 goals on 87 shots over his last three games, going 0-2-1 in that span. The Ducks got the better of him with a three-goal second period Tuesday that ended up deciding the game. Saros is at 2-2-2 with a 2.78 GAA and a .906 save percentage across his six starts this season. The Predators' next game is at home Thursday versus the Canucks.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Facing Ducks

Saros will patrol the home crease against Anaheim on Tuesday, according to Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site. Saros is coming off a 20-save effort in Saturday's 4-1 loss to Winnipeg. He has a 2-1-2 record this season while stopping 136 of the 148 shots he has faced through five appearances. Anaheim is tied for 21st in the league with 2.80 goals per game this campaign.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Shaky against Winnipeg

Saros stopped 20 of 24 shots in a 4-1 loss to Winnipeg on Saturday. In his worst start of the young season, Saros allowed two goals in each of the first and third periods. Given Winnipeg's dominance at home, this was a tough assignment for the Finnish netminder. After a subpar 2024-25 campaign, Saros had looked sharp in his first four starts this season -- he was 2-0-2 with a 1.94 GAA and .935 save percentage in 2025-26 before Saturday's action. The 30-year-old goaltender will look to get back on track in a much friendlier home matchup against Anaheim on Tuesday.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Facing Winnipeg

Saros will guard the road goal versus the Jets on Saturday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports. Saros has gone 2-0-2 with a 1.94 GAA and a .935 save percentage over his first four games this season. The 30-year-old will face his toughest test yet in the Jets, who have scored 17 goals over their first four games.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Falls to Habs in OT

Saros made 27 saves in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Canadiens. The veteran netminder nearly stole a road win for the Predators, but Cole Caufield scored with 20 seconds left in the third period and again with three seconds left in the extra frame to stick Saros with an OTL. Saros still hasn't taken a regulation loss this season, going 2-0-2 in four starts with a sparkling 1.94 GAA and .935 save percentage as he tries to put a tough 2024-25 campaign behind him.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Starting in Montreal

Saros will defend the road goal in Montreal on Thursday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports. Saros is off to a very good start as he is 2-0-1, allowing five goals on 94 shots. It's a huge improvement over last season when he had a 2.98 GAA and an .895 save percentage across 58 appearances. The Canadiens have been a scoring machine in the early going of the 2025-26 season, potting 15 goals in only four games.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Sharp in second win

Saros made 31 saves on 32 shots in Monday's 4-1 win over the Senators. The game was closer than the final score suggests, as Nashville potted two empty-net goals late, but Saros made sure his team was never in real danger of losing. The veteran netminder took a shutout into the third period before it was spoiled with just over two minutes left in regulation by a Ridly Greig power-play tally. Saros has seen his ratios erode over the last few years, posting a career-worst 2.98 GAA and .895 save percentage in 58 appearances last season, but he's been locked in to begin 2025-26, going 2-0-1 in three starts while allowing just five goals on 94 shots.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Patrolling blue paint versus Sens

Saros will be between the pipes for Monday's road game versus Ottawa, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports. Saros has put together a decent start to the 2025-26 campaign, going 1-0-1 with a 1.95 GAA and .935 save percentage. Considering the 30-year-old netminder failed to reach the 30-win mark last season for the first time in four years, this strong start could be an indication that Saros will get back over that threshold this year.
