  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Lights lamp twice against Philly

Harley scored two goals, including the overtime winner, in Saturday's 3-2 victory over the Flyers.

The 23-year-old blueliner opened and closed the scoring on the afternoon, beating Ivan Fedotov through heavy traffic early in the first period before slipping the puck through Samuel Ersson's five-hole just nine seconds into OT. Harley has tied his career high in goals with 15 on the season, and he's surging to close out the schedule. Over the last 11 games, he's recorded five multi-point performances while collecting five goals and 13 points.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Three points in OT win

Harley recorded a goal and two assists, including one on the power play, in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Ducks.

Harley was clutch for the Stars in this contest, as he got involved in three of the team's four goals. Most notably, he netted the equalizer in the third period and participated in Mikael Granlund's overtime game-winner. Harley has been playing at a high level in recent weeks and has racked up 13 points (four goals, nine assists) in 12 games since the 4 Nations break.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Buries goal in win

Harley scored a goal on three shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Canucks.

Harley continues to surge on offense with two goals and seven assists over his last seven contests. While he had an assist Saturday versus the Oilers, he also took a minus-3 rating in one of his worst defensive performances of the year, but he bounced back with a solid all-around effort Sunday. Harley is now at 12 goals, 39 points, 133 shots on net, 86 blocked shots and a plus-26 rating through 62 appearances. Concerns over the sustainability of his 15-goal, 47-point campaign in 2023-24 have at least partially been alleviated by his continued strong play in 2024-25, which has him on track to finish with similar scoring numbers.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Helps out on power play

Harley notched a power-play assist, five shots on goal, three blocked shots and a minus-3 rating in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Oilers.

Harley had a bit of a rough game on defense, but he was still able to chip in his eighth point over the last six games when he assisted on Mikko Rantanen's first goal as a Star. The 23-year-old Harley is up to 11 goals, 27 helpers, 11 power-play points, 130 shots on net, 86 blocks and a plus-25 rating over 61 appearances this season. Harley took a bridge deal as a restricted free agent this past September, and he'll regain that status, plus arbitration rights, after next season, at which point he'll likely be due a large raise as part of an impressive core in Dallas.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Late heroics in Tuesday's win

Harley scored a goal on two shots and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Devils.

Harley earned his third straight multi-point effort. That second point was a big one, as he netted the game-winning goal with just under five seconds left in regulation, sparing the Stars embarrassment after they blew a 3-1 lead. The defenseman has gotten on the scoresheet in nine of the last 11 contests, earning four goals and 10 assists in that span. He's up to 11 goals, 37 points, 124 shots on net, 80 blocked shots and a plus-28 rating through 59 outings overall.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Helps out twice on power play

Harley recorded two power-play assist in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Blues.

The Stars were 4-for-4 on the power play, and Harley contributed assists on two of Wyatt Johnston's three goals. This was a second straight multi-assist game for Harley, who has three goals and nine helpers across his last 10 outings, coinciding with the absence of Miro Heiskanen (knee). Harley is up to 10 goals, 25 assists, 122 shots on net, 80 blocked shots and a plus-28 rating over 58 appearances. He was a little slow on offense earlier in the year, but it's come around enough for him to have a chance to match last season's 47-point output.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Provides pair of helpers in win

Harley logged two assists, three shots on goal and two PIM in Friday's 6-2 win over the Kings.

Harley set up Jason Robertson on the opening goal and also helped out on a Wyatt Johnston power-play tally in the second period. This was a memorable February for Harley, who had three goals and six assists across eight NHL games while also filling in with Team Canada as an injury replacement during the 4 Nations Face-Off. It's quite likely he'll be in consideration for the Olympic roster next year as well. The 23-year-old blueliner is up to 10 goals, 23 assists, 121 shots on net, 79 blocked shots and a plus-29 rating over 57 appearances in 2024-25.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Three-game goal streak

Harley nabbed a power-play goal Saturday in a 4-2 win over New Jersey.

Harley put the Stars up 2-0 with a wrist shot from the top of the left face-off circle at 5:44 of the first period. It was his 10th goal of the season, and it extended his goal streak to three games (three goals, one assist). Harley was a mid-tourney addition to Team Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off when the team was hit with both injuries and illness, and he acquitted himself well. In fact, we wouldn't be surprised if his soaring confidence results in an uptick in production back on NHL ice.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Gets assist in 4 Nations win

Harley picked up an assist in Canada's 3-2 overtime win over the United States in the 4 Nations Face-Off Final on Thursday.

Harley was a late addition to Team Canada, but he ultimately helped the team hoist the 4 Nations Cup. He slotted into the match when Shea Theodore was unable to dress due to an illness. Harley had a few bobbles Thursday, but overall, he played remarkably well on a massive stage. He may have even played himself into consideration for Canada's 2026 Olympic team.

Harley logged 18:17 of ice time in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the United States at the 4 Nations Face-Off in Montreal.

Harley slipped on the Canada uniform because Cale Makar (illness) was unavailable. However, Canada coach Jon Cooper is hopeful Makar can return Monday against Finland. Still, Harley played incredibly well Saturday, looking as cool as a long-term veteran in a high-pressure situation.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Joining Team Canada

Harley will be allowed to join Team Canada ahead of Saturday's matchup with the United States, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

The rules for the 4 Nations Face-Off originally would not have allowed Harley to join Canada even with Cale Makar under the weather, but in light of Shea Theodore's arm injury, the NHL and NHLPA agreed to let Harley link up with the team in case he is needed Saturday.

Harley scored a goal, added a power-play assist and blocked two shots in Saturday's 8-3 win over the Sharks.

Harley has two goals and four assists over his last five contests, and he's added a plus-3 rating in that span. The blueliner should continue to see time on the first pairing and top power-play unit as long as Miro Heiskanen (knee) is out. Harley has a total of nine goals, 29 points, a plus-26 rating, 112 shots on net and 77 blocked shots through 53 games this season.

Harley scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Friday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Kings.

Over six games since Miro Heiskanen (knee) exited the lineup, Harley has a goal and three assists, doubling his point total from the prior nine contests. The 23-year-old defenseman is seeing big minutes in all situations, and he's holding his own fairly well. Harley is at eight goals, 27 points, 111 shots on net, 75 blocked shots and a plus-25 rating through 52 appearances this season.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Earns pair of assists

Harley logged two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

Harley set up a Wyatt Johnston power-play goal that tied the game at 3-3 in the second period, and he also fed Evgenii Dadonov for the go-ahead goal midway through the third. This was Harley's first multi-point effort since Jan. 7 against the Rangers. The 23-year-old defenseman has three helpers over two contests since Miro Heiskanen (knee) exited the lineup. Harley is now at 26 points (four on the power play), 108 shots on net, 72 blocked shots and a plus-27 rating over 50 appearances. He should have plenty of chances to contribute on offense as long as Heiskanen remains on injured reserve.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Picks up helper Friday

Harley logged an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 5-3 win over the Canucks.

Miro Heiskanen (knee) is likely to be out through the 4 Nations Face-Off and possibly longer, so Harley is now the Stars' top blueliner. That means more power-play time in particular for Harley, though his helper Friday came at even strength. The defenseman had seven points over 15 outings in January, roughly on par with his 24 points through 49 contests this season. He's added 106 shots on net, 71 blocked shots and a plus-25 rating, so he should be able to handle the added defensive rigors that will come with his increased role.

Harley scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Hurricanes.

Harley finished a feed from Wyatt Johnston to tie the game at 1-1 midway through the third period, but the Hurricanes retook the lead for good just 24 seconds later. Through 11 outings in January, Harley has racked up three goals, three assists and 27 shots on net. The defenseman has seven tallies, 16 helpers, 102 shots on net, 60 blocked shots and a plus-21 rating through 45 contests overall.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Power-play helper in win

Harley notched a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Maple Leafs.

Harley had been held off the scoresheet over the previous three games. The defenseman is up to 22 points (three on the power play), 94 shots on net, 53 blocked shots and a plus-22 rating across 41 appearances. There's some fluidity to the Stars' defense pairings, but Harley has been one of the team's top blueliners this season regardless of who he's paired with.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Three points on Broadway

Harley scored an even-strength goal and added two power-play assists in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Rangers.

He also chipped in a team-high six shots on net, two blocked shots and two PIM. Harley has found the back of the net in back-to-back games, and over the last four contests, he's piled up two goals and six points -- an impressive surge considering the 23-year-old blueliner hadn't gotten onto the scoresheet in consecutive games since late October. On the season, Harley has six goals and 21 points over 37 appearances with 85 shots, 44 blocked shots and a plus-19 rating that's tied for third among all NHL defensemen, behind only Brayden McNabb (plus-24) and Jake Middleton (plus-22).
