Senators' Artem Zub: Garners helper in Game 4 win
Zub notched an assist in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Maple Leafs in Game 4.
Zub picked up his first point of the postseason on a David Perron tally in the third period. The 29-year-old Zub has added two hits, six blocked shots, three shots on net and a minus-2 rating over four contests. He's playing in a top-four role as a shutdown defenseman, so expect his scoring to be limited while he continues to focus on his own zone.

Senators' Linus Ullmark: Sparkling performance in Game 4 win
Ullmark made 31 saves in a 4-3 overtime win over Toronto on Saturday in Game 4.
Ullmark put up a sparkling, Vezina-quality performance Saturday to quiet his critics for at least one night. He is 1-3 with a 3.44 GAA and an .848 save percentage this postseason. Through 14 playoff games in his career, he has a 4-10 record with a 3.54 GAA and an .878 save percentage. Ottawa will need another performance like Saturday's in Game 5 in Toronto on Tuesday to avoid elimination.

Senators' David Perron: First playoff goal since 2022
Perron scored a goal Saturday in a 4-3 overtime win over Toronto in Game 4.
Perron put the Senators up 3-2 in the third period when he tapped in a pass from Artem Zub into an open net. It was Perron's first playoff goal since he scored nine in 12 outings for the Blues in 2022. He has appeared in 108 playoff games, providing valuable experience for his teammates. He has one goal, one assist and five shots in four games this postseason.

Senators' Shane Pinto: Nets shorthanded goal
Pinto scored a goal Saturday in a 4-3 overtime win over Toronto in Game 4.
Pinto broke in alone on Anthony Stolarz while shorthanded and went five-hole to put the Senators up 2-0 in the first period. It was Pinto's first NHL playoff goal. He has one goal and one assist in four games this postseason while pounding out 11 hits from a third-line role.

Senators' Tim Stutzle: First NHL playoff goal
Stutzle scored a goal Saturday in a 4-3 overtime win over the Maple Leafs in Game 4.
Stutzle put Ottawa up 1-0 midway through the first period with a one-timer over Anthony Stolarz's glove from the top of the right circle. Stutzle's first NHL playoff goal in his fourth game came during an Ottawa power play. He is coming off a 79-point regular season in 82 appearances, the second-highest total of his career.

Senators' Jake Sanderson: Keeps team in playoffs with OT goal
Sanderson scored a goal and added an assist Saturday in a 4-3 overtime win over the Maple Leafs in Game 4.
Sanderson fired a wrist shot from the left point that fluttered through traffic and past Anthony Stolarz's glove. It came at 17:42 of the overtime frame. Sanderson, the Sens' top defender in 2024-25, has three points (one goal, two assists) in his last two games. He became the third-youngest member of the Senators to score a playoff OT goal (22 years, 292 days), behind Martin Havlat (21 years, seven days) and Kyle Turris (22 years, 248 days). The series returns to Toronto on Tuesday, with the Maple Leafs leading 3-1.

Senators' Linus Ullmark: Tending twine Saturday
Ullmark will guard the home goal in Game 4 versus the Maple Leafs on Saturday, per TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
Ullmark has allowed 12 goals on 65 shots (.815 save percentage) over the first three games of the series, losing all three. He'll be back in between the pipes for a must-win Game 4 as the Senators look to avoid being the only team swept out of the first round. The Senators have yet to score more than two goals in any playoff game against Toronto during this series.

Senators' Zack MacEwen: Among Black Aces
MacEwen (personal), along with forwards Angus Crookshank, Stephen Halliday, Cole Reinhardt, Jan Jenik, Tyler Boucher, Garrett Pilon and Wyatt Bongiovanni, defenseman Donovan Sebrango and goaltender Mads Sogaard, were recalled from AHL Belleville on Saturday.
MacEwen took an indefinite leave of absence Jan. 21 from the Senators and returned to AHL Belleville on March 4. He managed two goals and five assists in eight games upon his return. None of the players called up should play in the postseason, barring a slew of injuries.

Senators' Tomas Hamara: Recalled from OHL
Hamara was recalled from OHL Brantford on Saturday.
Hamara finished his junior hockey career with the Bulldogs as they dropped their best-of-seven series with Oshawa in six games. The defenseman had eight goals and 47 helpers over 58 regular-season games and then managed six assists in 11 postseason games.

Senators' Linus Ullmark: Drops Game 3 in overtime
Ullmark stopped 17 of 20 shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Maple Leafs in Game 3.
The Senators' playoff run is hanging by a thread -- a second straight overtime loss put them down 3-0 in the series. Ullmark did fairly well to keep his team in the battle Thursday, but Simon Benoit's tally 1:19 into overtime made that effort go to waste. Ullmark has allowed 12 goals on 65 shots over three contests this postseason. He'll likely get the nod again for Game 4 on Saturday as the Senators face the Herculean task of needing four straight wins to keep their playoffs going.

Senators' Brady Tkachuk: Second goal in as many games
Tkachuk scored a goal in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Maple Leafs.
Tkachuk beat Anthony Stolarz with a wrister from the top of the left face-off circle off the rush to tie the game 2-2 in the back half of the third period. The Sens captain has a goal in each of his last two games, and he has 14 shots in three games. Tkachuk is doing everything he can to elevate the Sens, but the powerful Leafs keep stealing the air from their opponents' lungs in every situation.

Senators' Claude Giroux: Three points in last two games
Giroux scored a power-play goal and added an assist Thursday in a 3-2 overtime loss to Toronto.
Giroux fluttered a wrist shot from the point on a second-period, 5-on-3 power play that got past a screened Anthony Stolarz. The 37-year-old winger has three points (one goal, two assists) in his last two games, but it hasn't been enough to carry the Sens to victory. The Leafs lead the series 3-0 with Game 4 on Saturday.

Senators' Linus Ullmark: Getting Game 3 start
Ullmark will start at home versus the Maple Leafs in Game 3 on Thursday, per TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
Ullmark has lost the first two games of the series, but he'll try to get back on track on home ice. He's allowed nine goals on 45 shots (.800 save percentage) to open the postseason, though the Senators' lack of discipline has been a major problem against a dangerous Toronto power play.

Senators' Claude Giroux: Secures power-play helper
Giroux notched a power-play assist in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Maple Leafs in Game 2.
Giroux set up Brady Tkachuk's first career playoff goal at 15:41 of the second period. The 37-year-old Giroux has plenty of postseason experience -- prior to this playoff run, he produced 81 points over 95 playoff contests. Giroux is in a top-six role and on the power play, but the Senators are already in a 2-0 hole in the series, so he may not get much of a chance to add to his postseason numbers if they can't turn things around soon.
