Flyers' Morgan Frost: Supplies helper in loss
Frost notched an assist in Thursday's 6-1 loss to the Rangers.

Frost is now at 25 points, 80 shots on net, 35 hits, 35 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating over 45 appearances. He doesn't stand out as a center, but he's in a top-six role and has been relatively steady lately after a rocky start to 2024-25.

The loss ended Ersson's five-game winning streak, a span in which he allowed just eight goals. Laughton has nine goals, 14 assists and 105 hits over 45 games this season. He has been slumping of late with only one goal and one assist in his last 10 games. Flyers' Olle Lycksell: Sent down Wednesday
Lycksell was reassigned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Wednesday.
Lycksell played in five of the last six contests but failed to record a point. The 25-year-old has seen time on the Flyers' fourth line, but he'll have to wait for his next opportunity. He has three shots on goal, two hits and three blocked shots over six appearances. Lycksell's demotion helped open a roster spot for Anthony Richard to be called up.

Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: Sent to AHL
Kolosov was assigned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Wednesday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
The Flyers elected to carry three goaltenders for several weeks while Kolosov was on the roster, but the 23-year-old hasn't appeared in a game since Jan. 2. He hasn't been particularly sharp over 15 appearances with Philadelphia this year, posting a 4-8-1 record, 3.45 GAA and .870 save percentage. Kolosov should have more consistent opportunities to play while he's in the minors.

Flyers' Owen Tippett: Sets up game-winner
Tippett registered an assist in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Red Wings.
There was a bit of a scramble for the Flyers' game-winner at 4:34 of overtime, which was ultimately credited to Rasmus Ristolainen. Tippett had the primary helper after his initial shot sat on the goal line next to the post. The 25-year-old winger has two goals and three assists over his last six outings. Prior to that strong stretch, he had been limited to two helpers over an eight-game span. Tippett is up to 29 points, 121 shots on net, 71 hits, 41 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating through 48 appearances, and he's currently in a top-line role.

Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Extends winning streak in OT
Ersson stopped 27 of 28 shots in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Red Wings.
Ersson was massive between the pipes for Philadelphia and a late goal from Rasmus Ristolainen in overtime allowed him to get the win. He's extended his impressive winning streak to five games, a stretch in which he's posted a 1.58 GAA and a .930 save percentage.

Flyers' Joel Farabee: Picks up two points in OT win
Farabee recorded a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Red Wings.
Farabee was involved in the Flyers' two goals in this low-scoring affair, breaking the deadlock in the second period and setting up the game-winner from Rasmus Ristolainen in the final seconds of overtime. Farabee has been productive since returning to the lineup three games ago, picking up four points (one goal, three assists) in that span.

Flyers' Rasmus Ristolainen: Scores game-winning goal Tuesday
Ristolainen scored a goal while adding four shots and a hit in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Red Wings.
Ristolainen found the back of the net for the first time since Oct. 26, when he recorded a goal and an assist in a 7-5 win over Minnesota. It was a goal in a huge moment, though, as it gave the Flyers the win with only 26 seconds left in overtime. The blueliner isn't much of a contributor on offense since he's notched only 13 points (two goals, 11 helpers) in his 48 regular-season appearances, so his fantasy value is mainly limited to formats that reward physicality stats such as hits (78) and blocked shots (74).

Flyers' Scott Laughton: Ruled out against Wings
Laughton (personal) will not be in the lineup versus Detroit on Tuesday.
Laughton has been struggling offensively of late, going seven games without finding the back of the net while also managing just one helper over that stretch. Despite the slump, Laughton should still be capable of reaching the 30-point threshold for the fourth consecutive season this year. In his stead, Rodrigo Abols will make his NHL debut in Tuesday's tilt.

Flyers' Samuel Ersson: In goal Tuesday
Ersson will get the starting nod at home against the Red Wings on Tuesday.
Ersson enters Tuesday's tilt riding a four-game winning streak during which he posted a 1.75 GAA, .920 save percentage and one shutout. A trip to New York to face the Islanders on Thursday and Rangers on Friday figures to give Ersson a night off, with Ivan Fedotov or Aleksei Kolosov expected to feature in one of those two contests.
